Hi there.

Let me tell you this...YOU my dear are not the only one, and its so frustrating that people dont tend to believe us when we say that the cause of our pain is directly related to the epidural.
My son is 6 years old, I had a c-section with him and obviously an epidural, and ever since then i have been having awful back pain, my worst is in the mornings when i wake up, i cry in the mornings because i can barely move. I sometimes have to try and get my legs off the bed first to get to my knees and the slowly stand up off my knees.

Exactly like u the pain is exactly the same place the injection was placed suffered from it badly the first couple of years and now it is extreme pain 18 years of pain if I don't take it easy it flares up badly. But I needed the c section and my blood pressure my life was at risk so was my baby as my previous baby died at birth so if I was in the same circumstances I would still choose to do the same.

I got the epidural when I had my daughter 17 years ago and I'm now 35. When the epidural was first given to me the anstialigest pushed all the medicine fast and it ended up causing it lots of pain on top of contraction in my back. Now the spot they went in my back is sensitive still at the age of 35. In fact today I had to stay home from work cause the pain was so bad it woke me from a dead sleep and I was in tears. I can't function when it is that bad. This happens often. My advice is to never get one.

My first epidural was fine and when the epidural was going in for my second baby it felt so much more painful snd the pain kasted a few minutes instead of a few seconds like the first. Now I also get random clicking, or popping throughout the day in the exact area the epidural was administered. im only 5 weeks postpartum and am hoping this ends soon!

I also had an epidural 25 years ago and I experience lower back pain on a daily basis. I cannot walk or stand for too long before my back starts hurting. I read other sites that say that exercise helps. Soon after I had my son, I exercised. I did lower back exercises, abdominal exercises and the pain has never gone away. I truly believe the pain is from the shot. I'm glad I only had one child otherwise I may be in worse shape.

My doctor told me when I get older I would have problems. I was induced due to insurance company guides and my doctor gave me an epidural. I am past menopause and my back issue is far worse. I think the epidural caused this and it is much like what I have heard is pre-sciatica issues.

Thats exactly what happened to me! It felt like I could feel it burning down my spine. The pain was unbearable. I acctually remember that being way worse than the birth itself. I have back pain in that spot on occasion. Ive never seen anyone describe exactly what I had. I always wondered if I was crazy. I wonder if it was a mess up by the doctor. I dont think ill ever be the same.
