I'm a morning person - get that from my dad. Every weekday, up at 4:30 AM, on the train at 5:30, and at my workstation at 6:30.
I'm usually my most productive in the morning. But, except for races, it's very hard for me to run in the morning. The club I'm in does their group run on Saturday morning at 8, but it's like pulling teeth for me. (no, I don't go drinking the night before)
The last couple weeks I've been wide awake before my alarm, no matter when I go to bed. Not sure why... I want to maximize my sleep dammit! But I am never really tired during the day either, so that's good.
I look forward to my work in the morning because I earn my keep teaching exercise classes at my school and have nice students this semester--so who could complain about that? It's a world's difference from when it took 45 minutes to drag myself out of bed before a day of being an overworked reporter.
No spouse to b!!tchslap!

Late to bed. Early to rise. My eyes snap open at the sound of the alarm and I'm ready to go.
Drives the mrs crazy.
