Have anybody ANSWER or just questions on questions or theories. Thanks in advance!
I saw a post earlier about hidradenitis suppurativa. I would highly suggest that ALL of you look that up. Hidradenitis suppurativa is an AUTOIMMUNE disorder and has been known to be coupled with both Crohns and both celiac and non-celiac gluten intolerance. By the way, the reason so many of us are overweight is due to Leaky Gut....i.e. what we eat is not properly broken down, so is absorbed into our bloodstream in bigger parts than it should be. I found out a year ago about my border-line celiac status, with that said, I am still rejecting numerous foods and these damned boils are still on my belly and between my thighs...at least it is the ones on my belly that opt to sometimes shoot out blood ewww. What I have noticed is that whenever I am taking a steroid (prednisone last year for pneumonia, solumedrol two months ago for achilles tendonitis), my rash heals or at least improves, yet within a couple of weeks after coming off the steroid, the bumps and boils come back. By contrast, antibiotics NEVER work. If a steroid helps heal a particular area but an antibiotic will not, that is the calling card of an inflammatory process of a most likely autoimmune disease such as hidradenitis suppurativa.
i am almost 100% sure this guy is right... only problem is.. my dr says the only option is to lance the area and hope it doesnt track... there has to be a way to draw out the infection, and get rid of that smell.. even when the site isnt inflamed it still has that putrid smell if you rub your fringer across it :(
So I have this too and I saw a specialist for the problem and he informed that yes it is a form of staph but mine was not the common strain that responds to antibiotics. These boils do form where there is more fatty tissue but are not directly caused by fat. Mine are MERSA sores and I carry staph in my sinuses too. If I was exposed to anyone with an infection like strep throat I would get very sick and the infection was VERY resistent to antibiotics. I finally found a doctor who meant business and he used a scalpel, no anthesia and then he instructed me to take a bleach bath once a week. A hot bath with two cups of pure bleach...I havent had an infection since...it has been three years... Bear in mind I also use bleach water in my nose a few times a month to keep the bacteria down in my sinuses.
Hi, I know you posted this over a year ago but i have been trying to figure out what exactly i have on my abdomen for about a year. It is right where my pants sit and i would describe it exactly like you. Have you seen someone and found out what it is exactly?
Same thing here but its been there for two years and before that it was on the other side for year or so
