doesyone, I don't usually post, however I did feel the need to because I too suffer with the same problem and no one here seems to know what this is all about. It's usually caused by ingrown hairs from things pressing up against your skin Such as clothing or your skin pressing against itself.
That's usually why it on areas like your inner thighs or your waist because both touch each other..it's called Pilonidal cysts and it's basically just from ingrown hairs ..For the most part they will bust on their own or you could even pop them..however it can sometimes get infected needing to be lance and drained and sometimes even packed. I would still see a dermatologist. I have had this most of my life and it is something that just doesn't go away. Being overweight is definitely a factor. Although, anyone can get them because like I said the ingrown hair. Basically when something is just blocking the skin from allowing the hair to grow, whether it be by sitting, your clothes being too tight or pressed up against your skin or bring overweight the hair gets ingrown causing the bumps. Nevertheless this doesn't makes us any less beautiful than what we already are from the inside and out .I hope this helped

I have recently seen my doctor for all of these symptoms. I have them on my waistband (the most painful), underneath my "hanging" belly fat--yes, I am overweight, on the side of my breasts, and at the top of my pubic area. My doctor said it is not major; nothing to worry about. I had been putting antibiotic ointment on my sores and it keeps them at bay but they do not fully go away. Each day most of them become full of blood and sometimes explode on their own, with a little touch, or I freaking squeeze them to relieve the pressure. If blood does not come out it is either white puss or a smelly clear fluid--disgusting. I was given a high powers antibiotic ointment (RX) IN CASE but she was not hopeful that it would help. Sometimes I still put it on to make myself feel better. I also begged my doc for two Zpacks and steroids (Nothing but my complexion cleared up for a week). My doctor assured me that it didn't have to do with weight or cleanliness....."It just happens to some people". I saw my doctor September and November of 2015.

My husband used to get blisters engorged with dark-looking blood. He went to the VA, and they just shrugged with little to nothing to say except it will take care of itself--it did not. It lingered for weeks until I prepped the area with alcohol and lanced it with a sterilized carpet needle followed by pouring hydrogen peroxide over the pierced hole, followed by rubbing alcohol, and a waterproof bandaid. It never came back. Remember to prep the area with alcohol along with what you use to lance it with--good luck.

Guests from January and February 2016, you have Hidradenitis Suppurativa. Find a dermatologist doctor that understands that antibiotics do very little for this condition, as most do not have enough experience with it to treat it properly. I am so sorry you have both been misdiagnosed - you will find that this is a common occurrence in those of us with HS.
