did you get it sorted?

I've had the same swelling for the past two months or so.  Also, no pain or interference with my lifestyle in any way.  I've had an xray, ultrasound, CT scan and electrocardiogram with doppler, in that order.  I was told after the untrasound that it is a dialated vein, but there is no indication of cause.  They've ruled out a tumor that could be blocking the vein.  After the electrocardiogram, the doctor said I have a minor diastolic dysfunction, which seems not to be uncommon and not something to worry about, at this time. She suggested following up with this in a couple years.  She suggested I could schedule a visit with a cardiologist or a vascular surgeon.  It's frustruating not knowing the cause or cure, but encourging to read about those of you who have been living normally with it for years.

I have the same thing. I was diagnosed at Mayo Clinic with a  disease called

"Sarcoidosis". It took them 3 weeks to figure out what it was with non-stop tests. Early

detection is good. Ask your doctor about it. Thanks.

I was curious to know if you found an answer to this? I currently have the swelling at clavical area both sides. It swells and goes down some, but doesn't go away completely. Now it is so swollen it is making my neck feel tight. I know it is not my thyroid as I had that removed 1 year ago due to Graves Disease and multinodular goiter.

I have had the same thing. The first time it appered out of no where and only on one side, between the neck and my sholder, I did no heavy lifting or anything. In roughly 24 hours it went away. Then the following day, the same thing poped up on the other side. No pain or nothing. And it happened once in a blue moon. Now a couple of years later I am getting them on both sides and I actually have BAD PAIN with it. It hurts to use my sholders or arms for anything. I have not yet went to the doctor about this, but when I quit procrastinating and go to the dr, if they have any news, I will be more then happy to post it for you all.

have like ballon bumps that show up at will. My ENT discounted me and said he didn't know, ordered an MRI of the area to check soft tissues. Never received any such order, he blew it off. Called the office twice and no reply. My mom goes to another doctor in the practice and I guess she opened her mouth. So she comes home randomly saying, "If you have Cancer you lose weight rapidly." So I'm concerned for her, I don't know what she talking about. All I know is I asked her to have them contact me! You don't blow off anything medically, had been prescribed antibiotics that by my continuous probig that very same day found a mass on my brain. Non cancerous, but attached to nerves for eyes, ears, thalamus etc and that day was given a 10% chance of living. So you don't let them or family discard you like your looking for trouble. They're a lot of jerks out there, but then you'll find one that will help. Believe me, two and a quarter years to find a Nuerosurgeon that will actually look at my reports, MRI, etc. so can quite possibly do this deep brain stimulation. It's a possible cure for my 5years of pain, in balance and supposed to help with memory as well. It's called "Deep Brain Stimulation." For the girl who posted above. It's at the Inland Empire Neurosurgical Institute. They work along side Casa Colima, Pomona, CA.

Hope we all get a break from this stuff and soon. The puffy stuff? Well am going to just try B12  and barley grass. Getting one of those blenders and using it, but I have a mother that says,"Where you going to put it?" All snotty my reply, "On the counter in the kitchen, you know like a coffee pot but not?" Everything's an overhaul with her. Maybe it's from stress?

Good luck to us all and God Bless!

I have the same issue one on each side of my neck on the clavicle with severe pain. I have migraines tingling and numbness in left arm and hands. The left side is the worst and now my right side is growing. They found I have elevated white blood cells, lowgrade fever of 100.3 and night sweats that are horrible. The Dr's do not know what it is, all CT scans and xrays came back normal. It's getting worst and I feel horrible. Why can't they figure this out

Hi everyone, I also have the same problem or similar with 2 fluidy swellings just above each collar bone, for about 2 years and slowly getting larger especially on the left side. I have had a dye cat scan, 2 xrays and nothing. Sometimes the swelling goes down but very often, is also there on waking up in the morning. A bit tender sometimes. Pressing it feels like fluidy feeling, not really firm and not a hard lump. The Dr is a bit puzzled and I have seen 2 Dr's about it. Both have thought it is lung related, early signs of Emphasema or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. I now have puffers, but that has made no difference to the lumps. It could be early lung disease. For 4 years I have been taking Metphormin for Diabetes Type2. and a side effect is short shallow breathing which I experience but not all the time. The lumps slowly appears since taking the Metphormin. I thought the lumps might be Goiter or Thyroid related. Blood tests have come back okay for the thyroid. It is a mystery. Maybe it is early signs of Emphasema??? I am in my 50s and an ex smoker of 12 years from 1968 to 1980. Could it be blood pressure related? Sometimes the left lump is bulging

No, but in 1974 my father died of Hodgkins disease age 49. What makes you think the lumps are Hodgkins disease?

I have bursitis in both shoulders, could the fluidy swellings be bursitis fluid? It is fluid coming from where? the lungs? bursitis? lymph glands?

Strange I have the swelling in the left side of my neck into the collar bone and I am in pain, I have had this twice now, I am not sure if the swelling ever went down completely. It sounds very similar to what everyone else is describing but I have pain and stiffness. I am going to the Doctor Monday.

I have very similiar symptoms...including the neck and arm pain...judging by the multiple posts on this issue...it must be something! My treatment includes ice, juice fasting and detoxing from processed foods, sugar etc...as well as trying to alleviate the neck and arm pain...Praying for healing and wisdom to return to a good state of health!~

Do you mean a lump or a puffy swelling? I have the latter on both sides, more over collarbone. Looks like a big marshmellow. It prob. looks like just a fat neck but they're not always the same size, and never go away completely even during day. My doctor ignored it, no explanation. I think something is blocking lymph fluid from draining in this area but why on both sides? and why to begin with? My blood work was good and I don't feel sick.
