I have had many cortisone shot in my feet which didn't help just made my spot and I don't have a cycle anymore.
Does anyone have an answer? I think that we should all post pictures of the swellings so that we can compare.

I do. Not so much the hoarseness since I had my nodules taken off my thyroid, but the sore throat comes and goes.
Well I am 62 years now, and I had this swelling on both sides, mostly on left on the collarbone. I noticed the swelling actually when I was 18 years old and upward, when I started lifting weights. i did that a lot back in the day. And now being older I just think it's something to do with the muscles in there. I did go for a physical a few months back and my Dr. told me it's just the Anatomy of my body, I said Ok then! But i also have a pinched nerve (Ulnar) from shoulder down the left arm and ring and pinky somewhat numb. Had this for about 2 years now. Sometimes the Chiropractor helps with That pain. But as many others have been saying here, looks like a Fat sack on the collarbone, no pain.
Now this sounds like mine..exactly. Also had since late 80s..so when i was 26 or so (i am now 56)...was a boxer and lifted weights...tbh im not that concerned much about it anymore because of how long i have had it and docs give me no answers..mine has been US'd and shows nothing..but it does intetest the doc who stared at it for about 20ins and took pics..many others had little to no interest. Did you figure out whats causing the swelling? Did it resolve? I know its over a year now and I just had my neck surgery 5wks ago and noticed swelling too. So I figure trying to reach out.
Mine is the same... Went to doc Wednesday and he said that is is not lymph nodes or glands and he reviewed CT scan does not know what it is! He said it wasn't from prednisone because I was only on it for 4 days. Don't know what it is :(
I've been going through this for over a year, but it's swells up to what ever shirt I have on, I've had a neck injury when I was in my 20s, been to several different doctors last one was ent Doctor and told me it was fatty tissue swelling.But I don't think that's it from what I've read , it's not painful,which mine is and makes me feel like I'm being choked and have trouble swallowing. It's inbetween my neck and shoulder.Im doing another catscan tomorrow, cause last one was a year ago, and found a small nodulce next to my thryoid but been told it's not related! Help any diagnose?
this sounds like me. I have an injury to my neck that I got in 2006 in a body surfing accident. I have been sitting in a language class for 6 weeks and noticed this in the mirror first on the left side and now on both. I had an infection which was treated with Antibiotics and cured and the doc said the same thing every other doc seems to say.. he doesn't see or feel anything. I went for a massage after my class today and they are HUGE now, both sides. I have a feeling that my crunched neck bones are cutting off blood and lymph flow.. I am going back for another massage next week (Thai massage) which is heavy on lymph drainage.. I noticed I have edema in my legs too, made better by massage. everything is connected. Hope you have gotten some relief!
I also have soft gel like puffiness above my collarbone ... Especially on the left side .

Symptoms sound like Cushing's disease
Ok, no I have not been tested for this! But will definitely check into it. What other symptoms do you have?
I have these also on both sides of my neck right above collarbone. Also, bone in back of my neck and muscles are always stiff and hurting. Had vertebrae surgery in 2009. Had thyroid surgery in 2013. Low on vit. D. I've had bloodwork, etc. and no one seems to know what these are. I've been told "fat pads" but they came on suddenly and after I've been having shoulder pain and neck pain. They don't hurt but look scary. Like a puffy fluid filled swelling on both sides of supraclavicular area of neck. I'm also a 50 year old female. Slightly heavy.
