hello, I am a 32 years old female and I have been suffering from buzzing sensation in the head for over 3 months now. I also feel a flickering all over my body ( back, legs, arms) but mostly in the head. I have seen a nuerologist, MRI,MRA,MRV, results are normal. I was also reffered to an ENT because before all these symtoms started 4 months ago I had a nasal congestion and when I tried to blow the mucus out, I became very dizzy, felt like the wall was spinning for a few seconds. Since then I had foggy vision for 2 months. My vision eventually better after a few months but the buzzing sensation in my head has not gone away. feels like its gotten worst because now I also have flickering and pulsing sensation all over my body mostly in my head. I have seen almost all type of specialist but cant seem to find whats causing the problem. The back of my neck has been hurting also and I do hear a sound more like a sizzling sound, not sure if its coming from neck, throat or ear but these feeling are very disturbing. I feel like I had developed anxiety because its been going on for a while now and still cannot rule out whats causing it. Please help if you have an idea, thank you in advance!

I just realized that hyperventilating made it stop for a minute! I have pulsing, buzzing in back/top of my head, not ears, for over a year and it is getting worse I took a bunch of fast deep breaths and got momentary relief. I also have fibromyalgia and was researching lack of oxygen in muscles as a cause and decided to try different breathing techniques and VOILA! We obviously can't go around hyperventilating ourselves forever but this must be a start, somehow we need more oxygen in our brains and tissues. My blood work comes back with high hemoglobin so the oxygen from my blood isn't being used by my body properly. Now to find a doctor to listen.
I had the ringing and dizziness you are all describing for 10 days but mine sounded at times like there were army boots walking and stomping across a wooden floor or thunder in my head on one side at times. I also was dizzy and extremely tired. I have been a nutritional student for over 30 years helping people with chronic and terminal illnesses, so I was determined to find out the root cause. I cleansed my bowel and ate nothing but pure water for 2 days and then I ate raw and only pure food for another 21 days. Example: fresh raw fruit, handful of almonds, for breakfast. Lunch: large salad with pure olives and some avocado, carrot, raw grated beet, and a variety of salad greens. Tea: pure steamed veggies with no salt. Drink: pure water inbetween meals and allow time for the meals to digest (leaving a good 90 minutes between food and water)
I am finding relief because I knew that all disease and all problems start in the bowel.
Try it for yourself. Remove chocolate, tea, coffee, soft drinks, sugar, dairy, salt and go on a pure diet and drink 2.5-3 litres of water daily. Take something to cleanse the bowel and drink dandelion root and alfalfa tea.

How did you solve your buzzin?
I have been on Effexor for more than 10 yrs and now have buzzing if i forget a couple of doses. I think the brain gets used to certain chemicals. Just my opinion.
Hi. What was the outcome of this message?
How did you solve this buzzing noise? I'd like to know please send thank you.
I have been having this on the left side of my head kind of behind my ear and at the base of my school. I hear it worse when I turn my head a certain way. My chiropractor said that it is called neuro trophic tinnitus Caused by a pinched nerve from a cervical Vertebrae. I don't really know if it will go away but it's really annoying and I feel like a fly is dying Under my scalp
*skull i meant
Been dealing with this exactly for 3 months now.. If you figured this out id really appreciate it

Perhaps you should try Celery Juice which cures most things (it is a herb). Look up Anthony William in Amazon or go to either his medicalmedium or his celeryjuice web pages.
