? Hi I was wondering what symptoms those of you who have gotten pregnant after a tubaligation have had. My period is usually on time but lately its getting later and later by weeks. I also have pains on one side of my pevic area, plus dizziness, lightheadedniss, nausea, cold/hot sweats. And am constantly hungry. please help
can someone please give me some numbers on pregnancy after a tubal because there seems to be alot of women that are having this problem i am 30 yrs old and have 4 children i had my tubes tied 16 months ago after my youngest child was born and now i am almost a month late for my period and i am supper tired basically the same way i felt with all my other pregnancy's i thought that tubals were suppose to be a pretty accurate form of birth control it doesnt seem that way after reading everyone elses comments please help
I was having painful periods and sometimes having 2 a month. I had a tubal 5 years ago. During the ultrsound to find out why I was having problems they found several fibroid tumers in my uterus. That is what was causing all my symptoms. I also found out that after you have a tubal it's more common than not to have "weird" periods.
This is impossible i had a tubal about 8 years ago. My doctor told me that i would never have to worry. I had mine cut, tied and burned. It does make a difference in what procedure you had. A lot of women are saying that they became pregnant after a tubal, Yeah right, They must have had the old fashioned type like tying.
I sit here and read all the answers. I am 26 yr old mother of 3. I placed my first daughter up for adoption. (had 4 total) After the birth of my son in 2005 my husband and i decided not to have anymore children. Now two years later we regret the decision to have my tubes tied. We REALLY want to have another baby. I cannot however afford a tubal reversal. We were wondering if there was anything that would increase our chances of getting pregnant after a tubal.
I would like to know the answer to this ? also. My husband and I made the decision to have a tubal done after the birth of our son two years ago. Now we want more then anything to get pregnant, but cannot afford modern day surgeries to have it done.
I too had my tubes cut, "double tied," and burnt but, I still got pregnant. I even went to the hospital to get my records to make sure my doctor didn't forget to tie my tubes. There it was in blk/wht. He had done it. If you have a c-section and get your tubes tied at that time, you stand a higher chance of getting pregnant. As everything is trying to heal, so are your tubes. Mine did turn out to be a tubal pregnancy. He also said that because I had had one tubal pregnancy, I stood a greater chance of having another. Im going on 8 years since Ive had mine done, I have my period every two months and the doctor says this is normal, I have heard people taking the pill to regulate there period maybe u should ask the doctor about that if thats an issue your having, I never had much pain with it I did notice that useing Pads was much better to solve pain and heavy bleeding....
I'm 34 ys old and I had a tubal done 12 yrs ago, at this point in my life with going to school and full time work , I didn't imagine me being pregnant. I had 3 teenage daughters and they all are almost ready to venture out on their own. This could not be happening to me. Yet they have said ten yrs is the time frame for the tubal to work! Is this true, I'm 2 yrs out and I'm worried that I may be expecting. What will I do If this comes back true. My stomach is hurting and I'm exhausted , my breast are tender and I dont know how I will complete this situation. I have had many surgeries (reconstructive abdominal ) what shall I do and is this possible for me to be pregnant?[/list]
I had a tubal done in March of 2008, until this was done I had been on Depo for 7 years, without a period all that time. Since the tubal I had 1 day of bleeding and nothing since then, it's been 4 months since the surgery. Suffered from crazy headaches, with lightheaded and nasuea. I have been very tired and moody and now having some discomfort in my stomache. I have take a hpt which came back negative but still think it's possible. Can anyone help.
I’m 23 years old I have three children from a previous marriage. I have never had what most call a normal period. I had my tubal 2 years ago 2006 and for the last three months or so in 2008 I have had every symptom of pregnancy you could think of. I have taken several HPT that all come out negative. I feel that after having three babies I would know if I was pregnant. Can my body be tricking me is there another problem. I read on line about something called POST TUBAL SYNDROME could this be my problem?
My mom got her tubal in 1988 when my sister was born. after my little sister was 8 years old my mom was feeling funny she did a home pregnacy test and negative, she did a blood test and negative, they did a ultra sound didn't found anything they were saying that my mom was going crazy we just to worried for her and cry a lot thinking she was going crazy. when my mom believed she was 8 months pregnant she requested a ultra sound again because her belly was growing and then they found she was pregnant with another girl, that girl is now 13years old. the same happend to my cousin. I just got my tubal done on Dec/2007 and Im feeling funny I haven't see any period this sept. I already have 2 kids 9-2 Years and I'm really scared I don't want the same thing to happend to me. 8-|
I had a tube ligation 12 years ago now Im 34 and I've been feeling very strange sore boobs,nausea,moody,craving for home food that I usuly like fast food,lol.I've been having some back pains and some cramps also I been burpin alot sorry to say but for me I feel that Im crazy cause it been so long for me that I don't know what to think.I been feeling something that moves suddenly on my right side when Im leying on my back and it feel kind of heavy????I haven't had my A/F for about 2month now.Can anybody tell me if they have felt anything similar!! :(

I had my tubal almost two years ago. I have three children now and now I feel like a fourth one is on the way. I can't believe how many women get pregnant. My last period was in sept. and am now 9 days late. Too soon to worry? My breast are sore my back is sore I am really tired lately. Tomorrow morning I am taking my HPT. I almost feel I would be happy about a new baby
