seriously you can't be that dumb can you? Without a uterus where would the baby stay during pregnancy? You are either a man without the knowledge of pregnancy or just someone looking for attention. Any woman would never ask such a dumb question, since we know what our bodies do.

My mom is 40 years old and recently went for a check-up at the health clinic. The nurse told her that her uterus is swollen to the size of a 3-month pregnant woman. She had a tubal 2 years ago during her c-section from my youngest sister. She has also had her period every month, but in the last three months she has gained 9 pounds. She usually only gains about 20 her entire pregnancies. She has 4 kids already & the nurses mentioned pregnancy. She goes for a ultra-sound next week to see whats goin on, but i was just wondering if she could be pregnant.

It is possible to get pregnant after a tubal. My story is that I had a tubal during my c-section 4 /12 years ago. I had no period for the month of may I by the first week of june before knowing I was pregnant I miscarried then towards the end of just I started again to get all the pregnancy symptoms so I finally went to the ER and found out I am not preg. this time but that had developed three infections (bladder, kidney, urinary) and I was told that these can cause all pregnancy symptoms so WOMEN please to be on the safe side from all of you having symptoms please even if your afraid of the results get checked out. If I would of waited one more day they would have admitted me due to it being life threatening. I wish all of you luck and send baby dust. I wish I was one of the few that get pregnant after TL. I would love to have another.

Well my mom still has to wait til next Wednesday until she has her ultra-sound and all, but this morning her stomach was upset, but then got fine so I'm not sure if she was experiencing morning sickness or what. She has her periods every month though so this is what is throwing me off track. She isn't due for her next period until the 9th so I'm not sure.  I'm thinking it is something like fibroids, but I'm hoping it is a baby with a healthy pregnancy. Any thoughts?

Well my mom goes for an ultra-sound next Wednesday, but I am hoping for it to be a baby with a healthy pregnancy sooo bad! She had an upset stomach early this morning and then nothing, possibly morning sickness or sign of fibroids?! She has her periods every month so that is what is throwing me off track from calling it a pregnancy. Last night she ate a soup that she usually loves, she said it had no taste and was awful so maybe that has something to do with one of them as a sign?! Its all a waiting game, but from the info I have gave...which would you think. Fibroids or baby?!!

Hello everyone,

I came across this board when I was looking for answers as to whether or not it is possible to get pregnant after a tubal. I am 26 years old with four children age 8, 5, 3, and 2. I thought I was done but my husband and I would like to have at least two more children. I had a tubal after my last child and my doctor would not have suggested a tubal had it not been for the fact that I have had ALL of my children by c-section. He said that with scar-tissue and with the short period of recover time I had between children that if I were to become pregnant again it would be considered very high-risk. I was wondering if there is any way to get pregnant without having to go through tubal reversal, or do I have absolutely no choice? I would hate to have to go through surgery to GET pregnant and then go through surgery AGAIN to deliver my baby, seeing how v-back's are out of the question at this point. Please respond soon if anyone has a solution to my problem. Thank You.

YES!! It is possible I just found out about a week ago that I was pregnant, one of my Fallopian tubes grew back together and I got pregnant, unfortunately I lost the baby just this weekend but the doctor said because my Fallopian tube grew back together there is a 66% chance I can now have a normal pregnancy!

I don't think your crazy and I am also in that same position. I was married for over 14 yrs, we had 2 children together but he absolutely wanted no more so I had a TL. We too have divorced over 2 yrs ago. Since then I have rekindled with an old flame whom I never forgot. We talk about concieving a child together all the time. He has 4 kids from a previous marriage. But to share that experience again with someone who wants it more than me is breathe taking. For the past 6 wks I have been having severe lower back pain, cramping during sex occasionally and just out of the blue, eating constantly and weird cravings, nausea during some foods that I always ate and no problems. My periods have been regular, never no break thru bleeding since I got my period as a teenager and the other day I had spotting. They took a pregnancy test but came back negative. I feel very full in the abdominal area lately. Sleep alot longer than I ever did, no urge to wanna do anything. I had my tubes tied 14 yrs ago. They told me its possible I am having an eptopic pregnancy so are sending me for an ultra sound today. Even if its impossible for us to concieve the right way we have discussed going the route of IVF after we're married next yr to complete our family. We have 6 together now, ages of mine are 14 & 17. His are 5,8,10 & 17. Our oldest both graduate this year so adding one more after that seems possible. I am thrilled. Good luck on your side. I hope you too get what you want with the love of your life.

You can get pregnant thru IVF (invetro fertilization). Even if your tubes are tied but if its gonna be high risk to deliver you may wanna reconsider. I wish you all the best in whatever you decide but IVF is the most selected for getting pregnant after your tubes are tied to not have to go thru surgery.

I had my tubes tied a little over 13 years ago.I have now met the man that I want to spend the rest of my life with and he has no children. We have talked about it and he told me not to let it bother me that I cant have children.Well I had taken a form of birth control to help with my periods and I took them for almost a month and they didnt work. They were suppose to stop my period and it went as usual so I stopped taking them over a month ago.Well I am now 2 weeks late.I sit here and wonder is that medicine still in my system I wouldnt think so or have I got a miracle from God and Im pregnant.I really hope that its in favor that God saw fit for a miracle for us to have a blessing from him.So we can in turn bless him back.
