Thank you so much again. At least, I feel at ease than the past days. It really is stressing me out.
Take care.
I am pleased I could help, and that you are less stressed now.
If you need any more help, then just ask.
You would not be pregnant yet anyway. That takes some time. To get pregnant, sperm has to enter your vagina at a fertile time, but from what you have said:
- You are on the pill, so pregnancy is unlikely to happen
- Taking out your tampon indicates you are still on your period, so unless you have a very short cycle, it would not have likely been a fertile day
- The time delay is likely to have rendered any sperm that might possibly have been left on your hands useless.
- There seems little chance sperm could swim into your vagina
The likelihood of pregnancy following is just about zero
No two situations are exactly the same. Timings at least are likely to be different, and details are important. So please explain exactly what happened, the dates things happened (along with menstrual cycle details, and relevant help can better be given. Also, use a 'name' (not necessarily your real name) to identify your posts (there are so many different posters on this thread). So ...
- What exactly happened?
- What date did it happen?
- What date did your last period start?
- What date is your next period due to start?
- How did you calculate that date?
- How long is your cycle usually (typically 28 days)?
- What were the start dates of your previous 5 cycles (or as many as you know)?
- How old are you?
- Where are you from?
Respond, and I'll try to help
If by "My period is aost in a week" you mean "My period is 'due to start' in a week" then yesterday was not likely to be a fertile time.
But what date is your period due to start? and how did you calculate that date?
[You wouldn't actually be pregnant yet anyway. That process takes several days.]
But please give plenty of information if you want a reasoned reply!
That is a common misrepresentation.
- Pregnancy can only occur when viable sperm enter the vagina at a fertile time.
- It does not have to come via penile penetration, otherwise, artificial insemination would not work.
- Protection is not guaranteed to prevent pregnancy
