having this shooting chest pain and yes i went for detox and it really helps, change your diet, eat right, do morning walk, go to friends that makes you laugh and you will live longer and enjoy life.
Even though I've come across this conversation a year late, I'd like to relply to Ethel's comment here for the sake of anyone else who comes across this issue later. I don't have any answers, but last night I experienced the same symptom Ethel here did (a quick pinch that occurred somewhere deep inside my chest. It felt like someone pinched me inside somewhere, as though hard and quickly, with tweezers.) Although it only happened to me once, I want to mention in what context. I have 3 things going right now that could have caused it. 1st, I've had an ongoing (chronic) cough now for about a month. I'm beginning to be concerned it could be a lung issue. Also, I have gallstones and recently had 4 "flareups", with the last being excruciatingly painful. Gallbladder disease &/or gallstones can irritate the pancreas, causing pancreatitis and probably - but I'm wondering... Pancreatic cancer. I had an blood-relative aunt who died from that. My last concern is fixable. I have 'not' been taking a medication as directed. I miss most days. Missing doses of medication can cause a lot of different (physical) nerve pains/& feelings. If you take any prescription medicine, check to see what symptoms the pharmacy info. page or medication leaflet-insert says you could experience if you miss doses. Also, I should give a shout-out, that chronic, daily battle with heartburn is a known cause of esophageal cancer over time. Other than these I'm healthy. (Lol!) Any of theses issues could be behind pinching pain in the chest. Any of us could be getting the pinching pain from these issues - or many other possible issues. I guess the best we can do is to not let any new symptom(s) ever continue without a medical check. I still need to follow this advice! Good luck & God bless you all!
Im fourteen and I've had the same problem since I was five. The pain is very painful and you can breath in all the way. I'm not sure what it is but the way I stop it is relaxing and easing my breathing.
Please mention this to your parents &/or guardians, your school nurse or an aunt or other older, responsible female you know and *trust*. Since there's a small chance that any health symptom *could be* caused by a serious health problem, it's best to *not* ignore it. Like you, i cant breathe normally, cant breathe deeply or pinching intensifies. Even moving my body a certain way intensifies it. I just had an episode that lasted 20-25 minutes, longest ever. I used to describe it as a "clogged" feeling or like a valve that wasnt functioning properly. Lasting very briefly (10-20 seconds). I'd guess it happens a few times a year maybe more. I started having strange feeling about something going to happen in two cases a) one while driving car and b) another in the middle of the sleep. There will be a strong feeling to rush into hospital because something is going to happen. I have done plenty of tests like Cardio treadmill test, passing some material that circulates around my body and doctor monitoring it, MRI scan, ECG, EEG and many others. Some of the cases I will have a terrible time in the night but when I goto Doctor in the morning BP was more than perfect. In the night it used to show 150/100. Few things have helped me although anytime I am prepared to look for that scenario. Stopped orange juice and it seem to have helped somethings. Careful with Americano Coffee and it helped too. As someone mentioned I was positive for h-pylori and had medicines. Cholestrol slightly on higher side. Gastric, GERD, too much computer or occupied in one or another, doing some stress relieving exercises - checkout to live but take the issue.
I went to the doctor with my parents and they said my heart was fine, but this never stopped it every so often pinches and when it does I can't breath I need to keep still for around 7 seconds. This started when I was around 5,7 or 8 I don't exactly remember.
Hi did u ever resolve ur situation? Because my husband has the exact same problem as you and i dont want him to take anxiety medication.. When i was reading ur situation, i really thought my husband posted that because he said too that he f eels like dying....
