Considering that I am basically working for myself now, and most likely will be for a while, I don't think this applies, but with my former employer, I'd think trained monkeys could do better.
That place was such a backwards, political, brown-nosing empire of sloth and waste that it made the place in Office Space look like paradise.
Some of their more amusing "goofs" to date; spending millions on a new advertising campaign and logo, only to revert to the former two years later.
Changing the names of all of the "geographic regions" from certain acronyms to the actual state abbreviations instead (the newly appointed president of a certain part of the company didn't like the one of acronyms) which cost god knows how much in re-programming all of the legacy systems for one, not to mention god knows what in other areas, only to change back to the old acronyms (and obviously re-program AGAIN) about three years later.
Taking control of their two best performing mutual funds away from the brainchild (seriously, this dude was on Wall Street Week regularly) fund manager. He left, and started his own company, which is doing quite well.
Didn't mean to vent, but it felt good to get it out and I'm done with THAT forever, I think.

No. I have no interest in running a school. I love to be in front of the class teaching the kids! :D
