My husband has this too! A dermatologist is trying to get him on expensive psoriasis medication. But they recently switched my hubs soap brand at work and I think this is the real culprit.

sounds like me. For over a year, I have been to several dermatologists and doctors. I have had test after test done. I have had six biopsy's done and they all come back normal. BUT the itching is driving me nuts and the bleeding and cracking. It feels like acid is on my hands and even cool water hurts them. No creams or meds help. The doctor said he is stumped. I don't know where else to go.

I asked my dr for Urea Cream 40% and it works, but I have to keep using it. I found some on amazon for $11 just doesn't seem as strong, but does help. My fingers are dry and crack open and bleed.

First this is a condition affecting a lot of women more than men.
One solution is : 2 weeks not to eat any milk base product. Milk only lactose free , NO cheese, NO yogurt nothing than contain lactose, also for the first 2weeks no Gluten base products NO bread, NO biscuits or any think than contain flour. 2 WEEKS only and see the result if your daughter suffer for a long time with this reaction 2 weeks will not be enough but she will see the difference. She is not allergic to Lactose and gluten she just have a bad reaction to it I have the idea that is something to do with hormones. Is difficult to change life time food habits but you can tell your daughter if she eat flour base product like one a month she will have the pleasure and the pain after......ja ja ja .

Mine felt like thousands of paper cuts last Monday when I went to the dermatologist. He told me it was due to working with wood, we have been building a barn the last 3 years and wood products, I work in an office with paper. He gave me a prescription for clobetasol propionate ointment 0.05% a steroid to rub in my hands when they hurt. It is expensive though after the rx coupon 199.00, but it did work. The stuff keeps coming back though.

You need to take Tangy Tangerine! It has the REAL amount of vitamins the human body needs... I feel like a million bucks when I take it every day and have good energy and health 100%. Look it up online and order it! :)

Tangy tangerine was to the person talking about vitamins btw... For the cracked hands buy a uv flashlight and see if you have neon glowing fibers/ strings... Could be a fungus you can spot with blacklight/ uv ie. Morgellons...

Try sulfer soap, Diatomaceous Earth, ZEOLITE, charcoal or tourmaline soaps! Diatomaceous earth EDIBLE KIND you can take a tbs or 2 drink in water and helps whole body, rub it on skin and kills anything without a vertebrae. Also ARGON OIL. Hopefully helps!

A lady I work with told me about Eucerin Eczema Relief. That has been my relief. My hands are not cracking like they were and the pealing is getting less. My feet were still cracking so I put Cerave and socks on them.

Can you expand on that a bit more please. How often do you hydrate your hands, and how bad was the condition on your hands??

Same problem. Bag balm works best for me. Wear cloth or rubber type gloves at night good luck

I have the exact same issues and was prescribed the same thing from dermatologist with no relief.
Have you been able to find out the cause?

Try not using cell phone & computer for couple months. Realize this may be near impossible for most people; however, there may be linkage. Worth a shot.
