and by softer, I mean less resistant to abrasion.

Last week, I had a bloody sock after running from where my shoe rubbed on my foot. A few days later, I got a MEGA blister on the other foot. It's SUPER painful and I've had to take a couple days off from running to let it heal.

Today, on the way to work, I got a sore/raw spot on my leg where I've never gotten one before.

Diet is the only thing that's really changed lately. :?
:shrug: ...I dunno. I know quite a few veggies and don't see them as having softer skin. One thought I just had was, I remember a "dry skin" thread awhile back and Flarunner said it was a misconception to not associate dehydration with dry skin. If I remember right, she said a good approach to dry skin was to treat it from the inside and when you're fully hydrated, the dry skin should be minimal. So, with that thought, maybe the plant based diet has suddenly upped your hydration and yes, Virginia, you may just have "softened up". Ya think?
