Yes it works and it's awesome. I didn't really have any side affects that I noticed, apart from a bit of sleeplessness the first few nights, but it settled down very quickly. Helped me lose all my baby weight and more before my wedding. I was also excercising but was at a point where the weight was hard to budge. Definately recommend!!
hi im currently on the pill, will it affect me if i start using this product? and does it really work?
I've lost about 23kgs using Duromine to help me do the right things to lose that weight i.e. eat less and still have the energy to get through the day and do some moderate exercise (without being so grumpy that my family run and hide when they see me coming). For me it's a great drug, not something I want to be on any longer than a few months but worth the side effects (which were relatively minor and manageable). If I had any advice for you I'd say stop being so down on yourself ...you didn't get overweight from sitting on your butt eating pizza and watching TV, you had a child ...those little buggers screw with your body something terrible. Screw what other people think about you (and they almost certainly don't think what you think they do anyway)...it's what you think about you that counts ....and now you're making a move to get things sorted out and get happier ...so 'good work, go you!'. Physically my advice is eat well, eat regularly, graze all day on small healthy snacks if you can make that work with your lifestyle. Do some form of exercise and by that I mean anything, go for a walk, spend 10 minutes on an exercise bike, clean the house, wash the car ...just try and move more ...you'll usually find a time that the drug is really zipping you along, try and take advantage of that ...for me it's about 3 hours after I've taken it. If you have side effects that concern you then skip a day or two ....it won't hurt in the long run. I'm astounded at the number of people who say they didn't sleep for 4 or 5 days ....good grief people ...1 day without sleep is enough to stop and then skip a day and try again. Consistency is the key, it gets tedious and you will have days when for no apparent reason your weight will jump up ...those days suck...but on the whole the downward trend will persist. Don't feel bad about using this drug to help you through the tough part ...it works (for most people) and it certainly sounds like you're doing the right thing for you ...and that's great. You'll do it ... just remember to stop and notice the good changes...when I lost 23kgs my wife told me I'd lost to much but I still couldn't see it....you have to get out of the habit of looking at yourself in a critical light. You're on good path, be optimistic ....
WHATS DA DIFFERENT BTWN 15GM AND 30GM STRENGTH FR DUROMINE AND WICH 1 IS MORE FASTER
Hi I have started on it 3 days ago. I was wondering how you are doing on it? I currently weigh 83kgs and are 1.65m tall (or short rather). Got so fed up with dieting and nothing happening...
I was 93 kg i started duramine 15mg I went through a loss of losing my partner lost 7 kg before taking duramine he left me, am now on 30mg but no weight coming off as yet Why ??? does it really work .
I'm 1.82 , a guy .... and weights 108kg so decided to take duromine and after 2 weeks, my weight maintain at 104kg, well, i believe my weight still going down, but please take note that those on duromine, basically, you will feel nothing for all foods or drinks.. but remind yourself to drink alot of water and take some food in between and also to me, Duromine works well with some execrise ... you will realise that you lose works faster then on the pills alone .
Hi, i am losing the weight slowly but surely. I lost more centimetres than kilos. I must admit it only affected my sleep on day three (I was lying awake most of the night). Other than that I only get a bit grumpy, but not sure if this is PMS or the Duromine, since I started with the 15mg. I am beginning to wonder what the 30mg will be like to use. All and all I am watching what I eat and staying clear of alcohol. Good luck every one!
Hi Guys,
Just wanted to answer your question - i have been on Duromine 30mg & 40mg for almost 3 months now and it really does work!I have been a huge yo yo dieter all of my life and just wanted to try something new, but I made sure I did all the research beforehand.
It is hard to get from the doctor unless you are really overweight. When I started I was overweight, but not obese. I went to my normal GP, however he would not prescribe it to me so I had to try and find a doctor who would....
Just a word of advice - if you suffer from an addiction or anxiety this is not for you.
Good Luck!
Hello all! I'm excited to see a forum about this that still has recent(ish) posts!
I am 24 years old, 164cm tall and I started my weight loss journey at 73kgs. I know I'm not obese, but I am overweight!
The reason I am taking duromine is because I have chronic back pain, which means that I am unable to exercise. Hopefully this will change in the future, but while i'm waiting for a specialist appointment (possibly years away) my GP and I decided that less weight means less strain on my back, which should mean less pain. I moved from the city to the country 2 years ago and have put on 10+kgs which really hasnt helped me! I changed my eating habits slightly a month ago and have been taking 1 meal replacement shake a day and lost almost 4kgs, so i'm currently 69.5kgs. My doctor gave me a script for Duromine yesterday, which i found to be $107! so i'm really hoping this works, since i'm only on a disability pension! Today is my first day taking Duromine 30mg, i took it at 8:40 this morning after reading the previous comments about taking it early. I was told to take it after breakfast, but i did notice most people on here took it before. It has been 3 hours so far and i havent noticed any side effects, maybe a tiny increase in energy levels. but after changing my diet so rapidly over the last month (no pasta, potato, rice, bread, less carbs, smaller meals etc) i have had zero energy for the last week. I'm hoping Duromine will give me a kick-start to losing the kgs, my goal is 60kgs so i will have less weight to carry around and still be in a healthy BMI range, plus still have some curves! I'm going back to my doctor in a month to see how i'm going (unless i have any really bad reactions then i will be seeing him asap, fingers crossed i dont!) i'm not going to weight myself until i see my doctor again, so i give it a good go before getting dicouraged. So i'll check back in a month and if this forum is still alive i'll let people know how i went!
Goodluck to all and please keep posting your stories! i'm doing this weight loss alone and love to read peoples journey. :)
