Lack of education on Herbalife seems to be a big problem here...which can happen if you are creating your Herbalife diet through word of mouth, or do not understand health.
1. Every Herbalife plan is different based on gender, as well as what you are trying to accomplish
2. If you are not exercising, you have been mis-informed
3. If you are hungry...there is a way to solve it and still get results...you have also been mis-informed
4. If you think it tastes gross...there is a way to solve it
5. If you do not truly understand health, you may hurt your body, lack results, or gain weight back
To explain in detail....
1. Every Herbalife plan is different based on gender, as well as what you are trying to accomplish
Herbalife is designed as a weight loss plan, health restorer, or weight maintainer. You can add and remove different Herbalife products to create desired goals. It is a simple program that boosts results by changing your unhealthy diet, as well as exercising. You will never find a diet that truly works that will not incorporate healthy eating and exercise at some point.
2.If you are not exercising, you have been mis-informed
Exercise is ALWAYS important to maintain your health. The only time a doctor or nutritionist would tell you not to, or to lighten up on it, is if you are over-exercising, sick, injured, or just starting a new diet/program that may cause your body to lack energy for the first week. Then they would all tell you to get back on it with regular exercise.
3.If you are hungry...there is a way to solve it and still get results...and you have been mis-informed.
No diet should EVER leave you starving yourself. It is perfectly ok to snack between meals. It is actually suggested because if you broke your meals down to 6 small meals a day instead of 3 large meals, your metabolism has time to burn through the food faster, giving you more energy and not feeling overly-full. So whether you are replacing 1 meal, or 2 meals with your Herbalife shake...if you are hungry in between...SNACK!!!! Just don't snack on junk foods. Definitely keep it to fruits and veggies and high protein snacks. I always keep my office desk stocked with low-sodium low fat turkey jerkey or buffalo jerkey, unsalted toasted almonts, and protein or fiber granola bars. I keep low-fat greek yogurt, fruits, veggies and eggs in my fridge...and even snack sometimes with a little peanut butter :x
You are hurting your body and you will get sick of your dieting if you starve yourself. You are more likely to stick with it if you enjoy what you eat.
4.If it tastes gross...there is a way to solve it
One issue that may not cross your mind..is that you may be used to filling your body with fatty, greesy, salty, sugary foods. When i started Herbalife I did it because I was exercising off and on, eating junk food, and unhappy with the "problem areas". I notice that a constantly craved my Taco Bell, Habit Burgers, and Tony's Pizza. I would still find myself looking for my go-to salt and vinigar chips, bagel bites...and all that other good stuff. The "health food" had a different taste to it...almost not quite filling. This is where you need to adjust your mind for about a week or two and trick yourself. This is where high protein, jerkey, nuts, eggs, even peanut butter come in handy. When you find your yummy go-to filler you will start craving it! I love Trader Joes organic sliced apples dipped in vanilla low-fat greek yogurt. I also love veggies with a little peanut butter. If you think the shake is gross...let your taste buds adjust, or add frozen fruit (frozen so it doesn't taste slimey)...then you can slowly lay off the fruit in it, and try different flavors! Give your body a couple of weeks to adjust and things will start to taste good!
5. Using the last 4 notes will help you understand health and your needs. Everything takes time and Herbalife helps give your faster, large boosts. Mix it into eating healthier and exercise! You will get great results. DO NOT use dieting as a short-term quick fix and go back to your old habits. You will hurt your metabolism by messing with it do much, making it harder to lose weight in the long run. Educate yourself on your body and what it needs to energize itself and nourish itself. The more educated you are, the better you will feel about trying to be healthy and which products to help you along the way.
I say it is time to ban these schemes for good. It is an addiction.
In our community, we have an Herbalife "Nutrition Club" whose goal is to teach lifestyle changes for healthier eating choices and incorporating an exercise routine. With any weight loss program, if you do not attack the root problem, you are guaranteed to gain back the weight. Losing weight & keeping it off requires a lifestyle change regardless if you use Herbalife or some other method. Herbalife helped me to learn about my nutritional needs, portion control and also to definitely get involved in physical activity. I recommend anyone starting Herbalife to find a local Herbailfe Nutrition Club so you can learn about proper dietary needs & the importance of exercise.
am doing so much effort yet no result..
