Please, I am very interested in any insight into getting of of methadone.
I have been on for approximately 9 years.
I am a 40 year old male, and I do not have any children. I definitely want children.
My dose has gone from 200mgs in the beginning, but I have been stable in 100 or lower for at least 4 years. Currently 80mgs.
I have of course noticed a decrease in sex drive, and have only recently been trying to find a definative answer on exactly how meth affects men's reproductivity.
Any info would be appreciated.

If you really want to be free , the easy way, it cost 5000.00 and in 24 hours your completely cured free of everything, there's one guy in ny that does it other than that I have to go,to Mexico,or canada, the u.s will not approve it. I forget the name of the drug but I did it and it works....I had to to continue my medical career.....

you need vitimams. Vitimams like Centrum and mens daily will help, u,don't need to,come,off for,that. I had two beautiful healthy children while on 110mg....
For the sex drive if ur,over 35 it's normal

Hi I just came across this post and would like help also because my boyfriend is on 45 mg of methadone and we have been trying for years to conceive but he's been on methadone a while like years I'm talking could that be the reason we can't conceive .

A little dramatic . No your clock is not ticking yet. After 30 your considered ama advanced maternal age but even then that's an old saying . Most people are starting families in thier 30's

Did you have to stop taking methadone to get pregnant? Me and my husband have both been on methadone for almost 3 years as well as me being on 4 2mg Xanax bars a day and we want a baby more then anything. Any advice is welcomed. Thank you.

How did you get off? I've only been on for 45 days now, at 35 mG per day, I have never went over that. I'm really really really wanting to get off soon. Like ASAP. I'm done with this c**p

Im on metadone about 80 mil a day and have been for 6yrs and im trying to get my girl pregnant but i have 14 hereations so idk if i could stop taking it but i want to have a baby so bad im willing to try just about anything so can u help me figure out how to get off of them the safest way thanks

I am using methadone for more than a year now and for about a month and half we have been trying now to conceive. My wife told me 3 days ago that she's pregnant. What I am trying to say is that being a year on Methadone didn't made me infertile. But I am thinking that it may be working differently on different people so I can't be sure.
