Hey guys I just turned fourteen Im 195 pounds 5'11 and I started lifting 4 months ago and I actually lost weight I used to be 210 pounds but na Im just scared Im gonna stunt my growth? I dont know if someone could tell me rr give me tips thank you

You can do weigh tlifting at 13 although it is not always a good idea as you can injure yourself so you want to make sure ou take it easy on yourself. What were you planning on doing?

Im 14 now and i will be 15 in november i just started lifting weights 6 kg biceps and triceps for each arm,30kg bench,i dont do much legs but i just set a random number if i do.I know thats not much but i dont wanna overforce myself.Im 6.1 but i wanna be about 5 cms taller(prob 2 inches).I was just wondering could i not grow those 5 cms cause of weight lifting?
Don't start working out now, but start swimming. It works out every muscle in your body, and helps you grow even more than normal. I am almost 15 and am about 5'10 or 5'9 , but I swam only a while back. My friend swims ona regular basis and he is currently about 6'3 and is a few months younger than me.
I am 13 and my hieght is 5-11 close to 6ft. I love basketball and i want to get good at it. I go to the gym to play basketball and i feel like i should lift weights. Could it stunt my growth if i am curling 10 pounds at 3 sets for 20 reps standing up. Also does whey protien afect growth of a person at the age of 13?
Hello, I have a question myself. I've been at a hotel in Sri Lanka, and it was really boring there so I decided to go to a gym. There I did a lot of rowing, probably half an hour a day, and I had the resistance at 8. Will that affect my growth? I did it for about a week. The reason I want to be taller is that I have been told I have a natural talent for sprinting, and I do athletics. It is usually said having longer legs and being taller helps you sprint faster, so I don't want to stay at the height I am. I am quite tall already, I am 13 years old and I am 175 cm tall. Also I weigh 55 kilos

well, this is very interesting. A doctor says it does, but depending on what you do lets see.. i squat 365 right now, bench 225, leg press 7 -45's on each side so 45x14 do the math.. and the rest of my workouts consists of using at least one 45 on each side of a 45lb bar. )all these are in lbs).. and im a freshman 15 5'4 ish.. answer that question for me.

I really want to start lifting weights so that I can be in good shape and I can make my high school basketball team next year, BUT I really don't want to stunt my growth and be 5foot 7 my whole life. Will doing a system like P90X stunt my growth.

doing light weights is good but if u stack it to much then your body will start to put all its work into building muscle then growing taller.
