I was also very impressed with the professionalism of his entire staff. My experiences were entirely positive. :-D
He and his staff are AMAZING!!! I remembered him from over 20 years ago and how wonderful he was, that MUST say something!
Could not agree more with sagilefty.
I had a rhinoplasty done by Dr Erlich in the late eighties and am still suffering the consequences, in spite of a revision procedure a decade later. When I'd told Dr Erlich that I couldn't breathe through my nose after the surgery, he suggested I see a psychiatrist. This should tell you everything you need to know. Unfortunately I was too young and naïve back then to make him pay the consequences for ruining my nose.
I had the EXACT same experience!!! I went to him to shave my profile slightly and refine my tip a bit. I only wanted on a slight tweak....he completely DESTROYED my nose! I came out with an inverted V deformity, a hanging columella and a tip that was lopsided and deformed. I waited a year and had a revision done with another doc who told me my nose tissue was completely pulverized inside and that my septum, which was straight to begin with, was crooked almost beyond repair. My 2nd doctor was actually disappointed that he did my revision and therefor couldn't act as my medical expert if I decided to take legal action against Dr. Erlich, which he highly suggested I do. I thought about it but I wanted to move on with my life and put this horrible ordeal behind me. Unfortunately I'll never fully put it behind me. It's been over 10 years since my rhinoplasty with him and I've had two revisions with different docs to try to correct his mess. My nose is now semi normal looking, but there's only so much they could do considering how badly Dr. Erlich mutilated it.
