Hey. I have these issues as well. I know this was posted a year ago but I literally just had an attack. I tried apple cider vinegar in warm water and it made me feel better in about 10 min if you're looking for a quick fix!

That is excellent advice. I'm in the same boat as everyone else here . I found out by chance last year that eating plenty of fried (yes...,fried,golden,crispy!) sardines/protein actually lowered my chances of having attacks(exactly as you described-rivers of the green stuff !) .I realised I could enjoy at least a couple of beers without problems.Any more than that though and even with the extra protein I know I'll be in for 2 or 3 days of Hell!

I read on an internet site it's ok to have a alcoholic drink
When you have gallstones. I have high cholesterol as well,
Which can cause gallstones , so will try to get my cholesterol
Lowered by diet. And statins which I have to take now .
Not keen to have operation really.

Believe it or not, whilst I was waiting to have my gall bladder removed, I found that drinking a large glass of red wine alleviated the pain in about 15 min.
Give it a go, it worked for me.

They wanted to take my gall bladder out almost two years ago I refused... The pain went away... It wasn't UNTILL a week ago we had a gathering at the house and I had a few rum and cokes... Paid for it the following morning... I've been having pains and it feels like there's a tennis ball when I'm sitting pushing up under my rib on the right side. I don't have problems as far as jaundice, throwing up or nausea just like cramping. I'm on for natural healing... I'm a follower of JESUS and believe in natural healing... The LORD designed our bodies to heal naturally if we do the right things. So far I've stayed away from fats and meat... I bought V8 low sodium, and beets and green beans wheat bread.. I also bought some drops from the health store which is called livet/gallbladder cleanse... I put 40 drops in a glass of distilled water along with two teaspoons of organic virgin oil and two teaspoons of Briggs organic apple cider vinegar with the mother in it..... I drink three of these a day... So far I'm feeling much better even dropped five pounds in a week. I to would like to have a glass of wine but don't want to go back to that feeling again. Maybe once I know I'm completely out of the woods I'll try it. Till then I'm feeling much healthier and lots of energy. I pray the LORD heals your gallbladder problems in JESUS MIGHTY NAME.

Hi, my reply might be late for u. Anyway, I will still do it for other people who might be looking for answer and reading this. I did the fresh apple juicing for 5 days, followed by fasting and epsom salt, plus olive oil mixed with virgin olive oil in the sixth night. The first week I tried it didnt flush my stones. I did it again after a day. I followed everything correctly and flushed smaller stones the second time I pooped, but, the third time, I flushed darker shade of blue green and a little smaller than cherry tomatoes shaped stones. I also felt a little pain in my sides. It was a success!

i recently suffered an excruciating attack..well yesterday.. :(
my last encounter was when i was pregnant, roughly 17 years ago..it dissappeared in my 3rd trimester. now here is the thing..i have been drinking 'excessively..and what was followed was my attack.now im trying to draw the correlation with drinking and the attack. i life a quiet healthy lifestyle. ie no fatty food..my cholesterol is okay. bp was normal..and for the GOD of me i can't be pregnant..it would require me to actually 'be with a man..so as has been indicated in previous post there is no actual connection..well can i say ..my attack followed off me drinking 2 bottles of wine..over 2 days...this seems odd..im due to go back for my ultrasound..so im relatively anxious

you still have gallstones after having your gallbladder removed? Oh no! I thought it would be over once I got it removed. Tell me it isn't true!

If there is gallstones after gallbladder removal, then that was the worst surgery ever. The whole damn thing is removed. Alcohol doesn't effect the gallbladder, it's the liver that it messes with...

Thank you for sharing.

I wrote my attack as food poisoning. I was doing the BRAT because of it. I can pin point the foods that triggered me. Hollandaise sauce, cheese, and fried chicken.

I drank inbetween attacks that were days apart with no issue. I had lite beer and had a few shots of whatever the bartender concocted. I was fine. But one half a piece of carrot cake shut me down.

I realized it wasn't food poisoning when the symptoms went on for longer than four days.

I have one stone blocking the neck. I hope to get surgery next week. I didn't know anything about my gallbladder before this.

I don't want to admit to alcoholism, I drink over 2 liters of wine a day, but not every day. My gall bladder has to come out next week. I didn't realize the drinking made it worse. This explains a lot. I shall stop. ♡ thanks for the advice

After researching on the web it's ok to drink alcohol.
Alcohol is processed by the liver, not Gallbladder. Excessive drinking can cause inflammation of the gallbladder, so drink sensibility in moderation.
