I am a 27 year old male and about 1.5-2 years ago on a day in which I had already masturbated twice I was having sexual intercourse and a small piece of skin on my penis split during it. It was just below the head on the right/front. Unfortunately I have had problems with the area ever since. Now a small portion of the front and right side of the penis just below the head dries up and is often very uncomfortable not only during sex, but even just rubbing against my underwear on a daily basis. It is not an STD as I have been tested and I also went to a skin doctor in Florida and she said it looked like psoriasis and prescribed me to a steroid cream which also was unaffective. Before that I had tried to dry out the area using a different cream that a doctor provided me just incase it was a yeast infection or something of that nature. This also did not work and actually making it dryer seemed to have a negative effect. I had no problems in this area up to that point in my life and am starting to get a bit depressed because it bothers me often and hurts my confidence because it effects sexual performance and overall state of mind.

If pictures would help I would be more than happy to send them but am unsure if that is appropriate on this site because of the area. I would basically do anything at this point to cure it.

Thank you greatly for your time.

If you want to share the images on this website, you can post the link. I'm not saying they'll stay on-line for long, but it might help us understand. Don't post anything provocotive.

Second, if you want to create an account at something like bitbucket or flicker or similar image hosting site, you can then post the link on this site, and anyone who wants to follow it to see your problem can.

If you've already consulted a doctor or two, I'm not sure what else you can expect from this site.

The first thing that occurred to me, I wonder if you were circumcised or if this was a tear in your foreskin.

I should have included that I am circumcised. Also, I made the mistake of saying the doctor that looked at it thought it was psoriasis when in fact she said it looked like eczema. It was a very brief appointment and I felt very awkward/uncomfortable during it. I should have been more thurough and asked questions, etc. The appointment was very quick and I left unsatisfied feeling as if she dismissed it as nothing really. I plan on going to a doctor again but am between jobs and without insurance. Any help in the meantime would be great. I will work on attaching a link. Thanks for the response.
