My hands are ridiculous during the winter! The only thing that works for me is to keep a bottle of lotion everywhere I am (office, car, purse, home, bathroom, kitchen). I found this website that I hope will help you guys! It did it for me. Good luck!

My son has had this also for past 3 years. We have found certain varieties of lubriderm have helped as well as coconut oil. Only happens in winter. Isnt Raynauds. No discoloring of anything. No numbness either. Also, neutrogena norwegian formula and aveeno skin relief give some relief. Not completely but better than nothing. Good luck.
I've had a similar problem over the past few, years. My hands would usually peel mostly on the palms of the, hands. I've had good success by using a prescription cream called,Clobetasol Propionate Cream USP 0.05%.
The writing on the tube of cream says for dermatologic use only. This is a prescription, cream.

I am having the same problem like you. I also lived in Arizona but had no problem but now living in Washington. The back of both of my hands are becoming red and hurts while I move them a certain way. It probably doesn't help that I work as overnight maintenance at WalMart and spend between 1-2 hours outside pushing carts and getting trash. I will try the gloves to see if that helps
You could also try using a barrier cream on your hands what mechanics use to stop any chemicals drying the skin out before you put your gloves on.
i had this problem, the doctors gave me the same stuff that they gave me for my feet (for athletes foot i believe). its like a steroid cream, worked good for both. but you have to be consistent, which i never am. have it again, and am trying the same thing now hence why im in this thread. cheers, and good health!
U are allergic to ur hand soap. Switch to dove hand soap.
I like baltex mixed with some ponds moisturizer. The baltex cream is like deziten ointment we use to use on diaper rash. Has zinc in it I think. Stays on pretty good at night.Feels good too. It seems to help. Also using a dish wand with detergent in it keeps hands out of water a little less. . I use lubiderm advanced skin therapy moisturizing lotion for extra dry hands. Hopes this helps.
I use coconut oil and it works great. Especially when used over night.
It sounds like Raynaud's syndrome
Hi I belive I have the same thing as you and I was wondering if ud cured it or not I need help
I have purple and red knots on hands only. They do not hurt or itch, but are very ugly. They turn more purple when it is cold outside. Some of them look very dry, and I always put lotion on them. How can I get rid of them?
Hey, my hands are exactly like you described yours. I’m trying oil to keep them moisturized and hopefully it’ll work. Do u have anything new about your hands? Thanks
