I had an abortion in September of this year. This is my second period since then. My first period was so heavy I thought I was having a miscarriage, this one is just a tad lighter. I soaked through a pad in 2.5 hours, thankfully my panties and pants are dark colored. But I haven't had much cramping, just some lower back pain and mild cramping yesterday. My hormones, on the other hand, are nuts. Any suggestions why?
in my experience, regardless of why i had to do what i had to do, obviously it was the right choice i had to make. but even so, in my experience, the first period after having an abortion is emotionally difficult. it's sad. yet, to help yourself come out of that if you too feel the same, remember why you had to do it to begin with.
After the abortion you should bleed for about 2 weeks (some women don't) and then I believe its 4 to 8 weeks after you should get your regular period
Please go to the Dr. Immediately I honestly believe you may be having complications

Period 4 days after surgical abortion
I had the same experience. Not much bleeding after 6 week surgical abortion. Fit's period came 4 weeks after the procedure and I've bled through tampons all day. It's the weekend so I'll call my ob on Monday.
I had an abortion march d seven bleed for atleast 4 weeks n just recenty im bleeding again wanna know if its my period ...cause im getting alot of cramping n pain too the stomach feeling even tied...
My abortion was about 6 weeks ago... My blood is bright red and lots of clots. The mess is bad. First day minimal pain today is my second day and cramping is a 8 out of 10. Took 1 advil didnt do anything but the second helped. Trying home remedies to help slow the bleeding. They mentioned herbal tea... Cinnimon is good... Im giving it 2 more days before heading to the hospital. This period is worse then my first period at 11 years old.

I has an abortion a few weeks ago so I bled the abortion out..iv been bleeding ever since an thought it was the end of it today..but just this evening I started bleeding very heavy like the whole inside of the toilet was like a blood bath..is that normal??? Please help....
Hi I’m in the same boat, I had a surgical termination 23rd dec and my period is like spotting only when I wipe and occasional spotting on pad. Did your periods return to normal? Really worrie and stressed. As cramps are strong but no real blood flow.
