My problem is that almost every time I eat clear liquid water comes out my ear sometime both ears and this only happens when I eat (weird) I been going through this for about 8 yrs now I've been to the Drs and they don't seem to know why I've asked if it would be cfs from the brain but the dr said I don't have the symptoms like headache liquid leaking through out the day I've looked on net and nobody seems to know why it doesn't hurt so I guess just need to live with it

I feel the same thing. I have this sharp ear pain sometimes though. My ear also leaks this yellow almost clear fluid especially alot at night. It itches as well. So I do take a qtip and try to itch it and clean the fluid out but then from use qtips its irritating my skin inside and outside of my ear. And if I don't keep it clean it crusted up and then it won't leak. I can't take this any more. I went to my doctor and he said he didnt see anything and just that my skin was red from the qtips. I told him its itches real bad sometimes that I have to itch it. He gave these eardrops that were meant to get rid of the pain in my ear, which didnt work, and some naproxen which is like Tylenol for my pain around my ear. Didnt work. I also have hearing loss. At first it was a little then it had gotten worse has I was using these ear drops as if the ear drops were just clogging it up more. Please tell me anyone what could this be or have any idea because clearly my doctor doesn't and says its not my ear its my jaw.?????

Causes could be many ??? Something that has weakened the body enough for it not to be able to heal it on it's own ??? ... some heavy metal piosoning, perhaps from Amaghan or so ??? ... lack of oxygen in the body perhaps also ??? ...vitamin C and Zink infusions might help!? ... . . .

I also get leaking from my ears and also periodically suffer from Labrynthitis causing dizzyness (spinning sensation), problems walking far, tinnitus, fullness to one of my ears and am now on anti-sickness medication (Prochlorperazine). Usually get attacks after a viral infection. Laying down is the only relief I get. Nothing they can do I am afraid. I have suffered for several years on and off.

I am having the same problem, ears constantly running, (I have a hearing aid which I cannot use). It started with an ear infection, after treatment I had eczema, I used ointment my Dr prescribed and it seemed to clear up for a while. The past 6 months I have had several ear infections and now have constantly runny ears, my ears itch so bad I have to gently use a cotton but to blot it. I am desperate to find a cure

Hi see if u got an acid reflux , it has happen to me twice , especially when I eat and go to sleep right away acid reflux can reach up to your ear canal and cause it to get infected and liquid start coming out of your ears.

I had weeping ears for about 6 years and nothing seemed to help until I saw a locum at my surgery. She prescribed me Elocon scalp lotion - a tip she got when working in ENT. After a week it dried up. It comes back every now and then and I just put some lotion in and it goes. I gave some to friend who was really suffering and his cleared up too. Definitely worth trying.
