I had this for years,
The solution was simple but hard to do.
I had to leave my ears alone thats no q tips nothing at all inside my ears for weeks and they dried up.
But
The ich that comes as they dry up is unreal and too hard to stand sometimes and so q tips it is and then they run clear.
So the answer is simple but hard to implement, do not pur anything bigger than your index finger in your ear no cotton wool no tisue no drops or potion just let them dry our and ich ow the ich lol.
I dont know if this is really the same, but I've looked all over the internet and I couldn't find anybody with the same thing happening to them. I got my ears peirced about a year ago, and they have long since healed over, because they got infected. Now, the back of my ear (where my ear connects to my head) is leaking a yellowish fluid, that dries crusty after a while. It plays up after I've had a shower, and then it heals for a while, then it plays up again. It's not a large amount of fluid, but i am ony young (12). My Dad and i have been putting colloidial silver on it to see if that helps, and it does, a bit. It is slightly itchy, but not that bad. I'm really hoping for some easy to understand advice on what to do, can anyone help??!?
Like others I have had this problem, I used to have such bad fluid from behind my ears leaking, it drove me crazy. And just recently (last week) I have had it from inside my ears (seepage). How funny when I came on today to offer advice about what meds my doctor had given me that I see "francophone" said the same thing. I was given Betamethasone Dipropionate Cream .05% for treatment of a kind of eczema/psoriasis. It worked for me....for seepage/drainage inside your ears with pain, I would ask your doctor about whether you could have "swimmers ear". I have also been diagnosed with that....frustrating I know....good luck to all!!
I had the same problem with leaking ear since childhood till now,i went one time for an operation but the problem still continues and on the 9th the same ear has to be re-operated because the enclosure of the running ear was not properly done. This running ear affects me greatly,by having cold all the time especially in the winter season, dizzy, and it makes me discomfort especially the pollution .I would be very much grateful if i can get some advice .....I NEED HELP.
I have suffered from the same irritating symptoms for around 15 years (dripping, itchy ears) . At one point the ENT doc diagnosed me as having eczma in my ear and gave me some amazing cream I needed to plug my ear up with for a few nights(one at a time). It worked perfectly and for a few years I was clear, no more qtips and scratching. Then I went swimming in a pool that hadn't been properly treated, suffered a minor infection and the condition returned. Frustratingly no doc has since been able to find the cream I was initially prescribed, and the best relief I can get is from putting Sudocream on a qtip. Sounds strange but it works. I will go back to the docs, the last one gave me head eczma fluid which stung and did no good at all, so looking for something milder. I wanted to post this as hearing other people suffer I never would have believed my issue was caused by eczma but the treatment was so effective it has to be correct...................if only I could find the same cream again.

I've had the ear leak problem for over a year now. I heard about a product you can try to stop the leaking -- it is Mario Badescu Control Cream. You can buy it on Amazon. I ordered a jar and started using it a week ago, applying it with a Q-tip. I am amazed that so far the leaking has stopped. All I can hope is that it stay dry from now on -- will post again in a few weeks.
so? did it work, my son has this problem
Yes, it worked almost immediately. But after about 4-5 weeks, it reappeared and I had to repeat the treatments. I guess it's not a permanent solution (in my case) but at least the leaking is no longer a daily thing to endure.
