I get this too but it only seems to happen when I'm dropping off to sleep. It's been happening for about 3 months now.

Have you been tested for Thyroid disorder? If not, you should have your blood tested.

Yours is the closest, out of all these descriptions, to mine. I also have read that skeletal injury can be refering nerve “pain”; but I dont really have pain. The sensation is electric and wakes me up at night. Cardiovascularly I am completely checked out. This sensation began 5 years ago in a very stressed time of life but also after healing a rib from a step-stool fall. That said, it pops up more when I am more stressed ( I don’t feel stressed but my mind knows I am due to life factors-kind of like what I am gathering is going on in your life at the time of this posting)...Anyway, the one thing that stops the buzz is taking five drops of Iodine in water and vinegar. My sister hates that I do this (because she thinks i can hurt my thyroid and adrenal glands) but it stops the buzz for about a month. Maybe the buzz is thyroid related and that is why it creeps in when we are under more environmental stress. I tell my sister that Iodine cleans the Tyroid so mybe it then helps my adrenals, since in functions they are related. I digress, I just wanted to share with whomever may be interested that this may be a “tired/dirty blood”issue and if Iodine can clean it and we can cast off the dead cells in our blood and make more, that are clean, then maybe that is why the Iodine makes me feel better. It is the only thing i have tried that has eleviated the symptoms for ANY amount of time. PS my tyroid and cholesterol numbers are in line withnational standards. Sorry this is long, hope it helps.

Hello what tests identified the hole in your mother's heart? Many thanks

Probably a leaky valve. Subtract you bottom number from you top number (blood pressure). If the number is greater than 60 and you have the symptoms of heart flutters and especially if they are worse when you lay down, you may have a leaky valve.Really I had to see 3 heart doctors to get the correct treatment. Even though the 1st ultra sound showed leaky valves, the doc told me i was fine. The next one said, you sure do get out of breath, but you are fine. Finally the third did another ultra sound and told me my top half of my heart was enlarging and I had a leaky valve. We are treating with medication. Hope this helps.

I realize this is a year old but happened to stumble upon this and came across your comment. See a rheumatologist do they can rule out Ankylosing Spondylitis.

Don’t take this as a medical opinion, I am not a doctor. I had this kind of fluttering many times a day for many years, the kind that vibrates and gives you a hole in the stomach when it stops. I stopped caffeine and after a few months it went away. After almost 3 years without caffeine I had an espresso the other day and the flutters came back. I too had the sweating and dizziness in the beginning, it ended up being panic attacks from thinking that I had my heart failing... again you should seek medical advice but if they don’t find anything, work on stress, anxiety and anything that can trigger it (smoking, coffee, lack of exercise) and you should feel better. Hope it helps.

One way or the other, we are all going to meet him. Just started happening to me. Thought I was laying on my cell phone. Phone was in my hand.... still felt it. Thanks for starting this posting and everyone replying. Im going to let it ride awhile since Ive been losing a lot of weight without trying. Obese people like me tend to get little treatment. So Hopefully I will be replying later that it stopped. Or I will be looking down on you, but more likely staring up at you. Im rolling the dice and betting the family will appreciate all of the life insurance policies I carry on myself.

Is there any possibility you have Lyme disease? Fasiculations, joint pain/swelling and heart problems can all be Lyme symptoms.

This is very strange. I searched for the cause of this vibrating feeling and read this post. I also have this red dry hive like thing going on on my back, chest and even my face sometimes. What is more is I have had a few episodes for my life of a vision migraine. I had them when I was in primary school but they returned out if the blue two years ago and I am nearly 40 now. My skin symptoms also appeared only now after nearly 20 years or no problems. I never thought all this could related but this can’t be a coincidence.
