I had this fluttering in my chest too and it seams to be anemia. I started taking iron pills and it went away. I hope this helps.

I have recently noticed the same thing... but they are timeable... every 4-5 minutes... they are all the time. Not sure what to do about them... they do not hurt... but concernted. Thank you, I thought I was crazy that it felt like a cell phone going off.

This may be a small muscle located near your heart, which does these vibrations, because of a high caffeine intake.  I am recently having these symptoms also, due to having 64 oz to 96 oz of soda a day for the last year, Coke Zero, Diet Pepsi mostly. I am not a coffee drinker.  Caffeine  maybe some thing to cut out of your diet for a while for a lead.  I did find this located on other websites.

I have had similar on and off for about 4 years+ now. I am morbidly obese and know I need to lose weight else one day its going to be something serious. So far had about 4 or 5 ecg and a 24hr monitor with nothing really of note apparently. Blood pressure is fairly well controlled on a very low dose of ramipril. Pulse does fluctuate a bit but again docs not too concerned other than saying to lose weight.

Current issue is neck ache across both sides and an occasional stabbing pain under my right chest which I have had for a few days now, nothing seems to help paracetamol or aspirin Its a nightmare so if its still going in a couple of days or gets worse will be making an appointment with my doc again (probably to be told all is well, but to lose weight again, and before anyone says anything I want to but unless you have lived with it all your life you dont get how hard it is to change habits of a lifetime!)

Do any of you keep your cell phone near your heart and on vibrate? Every time I feel this fluttering, I'm reminding of my cell phone vibrating. I was wondering if it's a learned response in some of our cases.

I have what you guys have, maybe...a vibration sensation in my legs all the time, sometimes the groin, and occasionally the left chest. Talked to my doc, who says it could be a vitamin B6 overdose (I had been supplementing with B6, with his knowledge, because of cubital tunnel syndrome). Have been off my vitamin B6 supplement and switched to a multivitamin with just 100% daily recommended dosage of B6. Will talk again to the doc in a few days.

Besides B6 overdose, other things like stress, caffeine, some allergy meds like Benadryl and pseudo-ephedrine can cause this sensation too. I have heard that a calcium definitely could, but that I have to confirmed.

I am so glad to see that I am not alone with this problem,I've had this problem for a while now and I think it is stress related because it is worse when I am stressed .Sometimes its very scary but I've had stress test and e.k.g. and all is good, very puzzling but apparently very comman.I hope someone figures it out!

I have the EXACT same issues, although I am 62 years and not all overweight. Same fluttering in my chest, although it is very umpredictable -- sometimes I will have it happen several times for several days in a row, but each time only lasts seconds. Then nothing for months, then it happens again. Also have the visual migraines, though not as bad as yours, AND finally just developed the itchiness (which is definitely hives) four months ago and have to take Zyrtec every day or two to control it. Did you ever find out what was causing your symptoms? I have never met anybody who all these 3 same things going on. I have had the fluttering heartbeat for about 15 years, by the way, just started with the ocular migraines nine months ago.

I think you're right about this being anxiety. My doctor prescribed Valium which curbs the fluttering I feel in my chest. I have been under a great deal of stress lately. Hope this helps.
