No, please do not wait! I was suffering with these horrible pains in my stomach for about 2 years, on and off. I thought they were just part of constipation issues, so I didn't pursue treatment. Then these pains came to a full tilt the week of June 20, 2021 - excruciating stomach pain and vomiting! By the 24th around midnight, my husband had to call the ambulance and off I went. My gall bladder was so inflamed and damaged. They tried to remove it by laparoscopic but was too inflamed and damaged so they had to remove it open surgery. I went home 3 days later, only to still feel terrible stomach pains and 3 days after this, I went back to hospital only to have them find that I had a bile leak, so they had to put in stents. Please go to a GI specialist if you are experiencing these severe stomach pains and if they tell to have your gall bladder removed, do it for your own benefit. I too experienced the diarrhea initially, but I was told that I could take Nusyllium Organic Fiber Powder to help bulk up and I don't experience that any more. I see it's been over a year since your post and I hope since then you've had your gall bladder removed are are feel much better.
