95% of gallbladder removal is done by lap procedure now. Fyi u r the exception not the rule.

I had my gallbladder removed back in 1995 and still get green stool at times. It's about how fast food passes thru intestunes, how much fat youve consumed.....its nothing to worry about.
If it's laproscopic surgery, it can be overnight. The doctors attempted laproscopic on me but my liver was wrapped around my gallbladder so they ended up having to do it the old way and cut about 10 inches across muscle and fat ;-)
I had my gallbladder removed almost a year ago I'm still having pains like I still have my gallbladder and my stool is watery and green
I won’t be back on this page after I write this but I had my gallbladder removed because the stone was too big to remove on its own and I have 5 small scars from it. I was in the hospital for about 4 or 5 days after because I had to be on just water diet for a bit and then they tried regular foods and this was in 2016 or 17 and only a couple months ago so for me it wasn’t a in and out thing. Also everyone’s experiences won’t be the same. Good luck.
I agree i removed my gallbladder in 2013 and i still suffer with updomenol pain ever since
When my gallbladder was taken out they left part of it connected to my liver I will sent home with the tube hanging out my stomach for a month. I've never heard of leaving party your gallbladder in
I had my gallbladder removed 10 months ago and to this day I still have problems with green diarrhea I still get them random abdominal pains

Of course there will always be the exception to any rule and not everyone’s surgery experience is going to be the same. That is where my agreeing with you ends. I had my gall bladder out several years ago. This week for the first time I have been having daily, dark green stools. Should I be concerned?

I have stomach cramps and sometimes none but I go to the bathroom to poop a lot doing the day. I had my gall bladder out about 7 years ago. Most of time it’s like diarrhea .
