Contacting a dermatologist for a root canal seems pretty odd, since only dentist perform root canals. When providing people with medical advice, you should first know what you are talking about lol

What if you are having this peroblem and you have had a root canal 9 years ago?

I had the same problem years ago. Root canals get old and some bacteria gets in the root or bottom and the pimple is full of puss trying to come out. I would see the dentist. Hopefully they can still save the tooth.

I had the EXACT same thing, although mine come back every month or so, i usually just push on it with my top lip and it will burst into that kinda cream coloured liquid, although it doesnt taste of anything

Don't wait til the infection travels down to the bone and gets even more serious. I would make an appt asap with the dentist. Root canals are only meant to last for so many years before they need to get redone to save the tooth.

So many people are saying you have to have a root canal, but you don't have to do that. I'm getting my tooth pulled in about 1 hour by an oral surgeon who takes medicare and Medicaid. I also have that pimple.

Hey, I've been online searching for answers for this exact problem! I had a tooth extraction around 2 months ago and now I have a gum abscess in that area. It will pop on its own then within a few hours, be back and bigger at times! I have been also dealing with severe migraines, swollen lymph nodes, sore throat, ear pain etc. I had it checked out by my oral Surgeon twice now and they said to continue my antibiotic (clyndomicine), Percocet & phenagrin for the nausea and pain. Nothing has changed! If anything, I feel more sick, icky as if I had the flu but that test and strep were both negative. What did they do for you and did it help? I'm desperate right now for answers and help. I'm suppose to leave the country the end of this month but feeling this bad is not fun! Please help!
