Long thread with no positive result? I have had this for many months, but I also have one of the myalgia variations. Had Shingles and am fairly nervy (teeth grinding, short temper, uptight, neuralgia etc) It has to be related to one of the diseases/conditions you have experienced in the past that effect the nervous system. Sorry, also arthritis. There seems to be little understanding of the causes of these problems that to me, feel related. And no UTI.

I have had this problem for a few years. I have asked 2 doctors, a nurse, a PA and a cardiologist about it and every time they look at me like I'm being silly. I have been recently diagnosed with mixed connective tissue disorder (an autoimmune thing) but would like to know if this is a symptom of that or the other way around - is holding urine when I sleep causing the disorder?

Funny you Should say that. I get a strange feeling in one finger on my right hand just before a bowel movement. I thought it was just me being weird. I wondered if it was anything to do with how acupuncture works as they put needles in one part of the body to alleviate pain in another.

Hey Brandi! I'm a 23 year old female and have the same problem! All of the joints in my left hand hurt like crazy when I make a BM and I too have no idea why. I have no heart problems that I know of.

I am 51 and my hands and fingers tingle/pain whenever I have held on. Annoying but don't seem to find any answers. Doctors not interested and nobody I know experiences this. Good to know I am not alone. However would love to know why. No real health problems.

I too am glad to know I am not alone. It seems so weird. Mine is very painful at times but only lasts a few seconds.

Wow this is All great reading . But Do any of you hand tingle stroke dash pain suffered have tick bites in common. Even one even years ago... i also suffer from this mild malady of late - but previously have experienced two mild heart attacks even though my "doctor" said I had a 25 year old heart after two years of complaining of fainting spells after sex??? I was 65 at the time and he refused to even discuss the matter - especially when I described identical after life experiences. Just another insane oldie lol... so as an ex journalist I went to the books and discovered that ticks inject parasites which eat gristle --- read muscle tissue: as in heart valves; hip, knee joints, spinal disks etc etc. Not hard to kill these parasites - pathogens. Hulda clark invented her zapper in the 30 's. Anyway I am still researching. Thinking maybe I should change from breeding chickens to ducks as duck fat actually clears away other fats from inside blood veins etc... or so say the experts...??? I look forward to future posts here.

I'm a 60 year old female and I have the same symptoms. Tingling achiness in my fingers if I hold it too long especially the bowels, but also in urination. I'm healthy and excercise (Zumba three times a week) and walk daily. No idea why.

I finally found this [very old] thread after googling this symptom multiple times throughout the last few years.
For me, it is a general but intense aching in my palms, usually most intense as I start urinating. It usually arises when I have been drinking, and/or "holding it" for too long. I am in my early 30s and have been dealing with chronic daily migraine as well as other undiagnosed pains (extremities, abdominal) for most of my life.
