Have the same exact thing. It is on the left side and I tried to pop it this evening and blood and some clear stuff came out but it seemed to grow in size obviously swelling. Started about a week ago that I noticed it I thought I the loofah sponge may have scratched a sensitive area but today I noticed it was still sore and upon inspection there is a small lump. If it doesn't go away in a few days I will be Consulting with my family practitioner will let you know how it goes..

I agree, I don't think is a Bartholins cyst, the bartholin glands are located posterior; on bilateral sides of the vaginal opening. I believe what we are dealing with is a sebaceous cyst. "Sebaceous gland produces oil that coats your hair and skin. Cysts can develop if the gland or its duct, becomes damaged or blocked."

Thank you so much. I'm not alone!!! I also get this fluid filled bump just under the skin of my right labia minora. I have however noticed that mine are caused by friction. I'm a lesbian and so when my partner is hands on In that area the rubbing/ friction from her thumb will cause this bump to appear the next day or so. Ive also noticed this lump appearing on account of my own let's saying DJ'ing my own party where there's a constant rub as I am right handed. This bump is always so sore and despite the intense pain to pop or burst it, I have to bring myself to do it for immediate relief. Hope I can help someone avoid the bump if they can.

I am so glad I found this page I am going out of my mind with worry about this! Mine seems to coincide with friction down there and always in the same place, hard painful lump on the left side of labia minora. A cyst or blocked gland sounds probable. I just wish it was anywhere on my body but here! I don't want to see the doctor and I've had several sti tests over the last couple of years so am fairly certain it's not that. I suffer with BV monthly too (after period) I hate being a woman sometimes!

It is a cyst that can be removed by your doctor. Nothing to worry about. Gland that gets clogged. Short noninvasive procedure.

I have something similar. My doctor said that they are blocked Bartholin Cysts. Hope this helps

I just had surgery to remove a lumo thought to be a Bartholins cyst. Itcould be something else. I advise u to be seen. It could become worse or something completely different. Its very important.

It may also be a sebaceous gland. It could be serious I just had an operation You really should have it check by a professional.

I have a similar problem I get an occasional hard like bump in my labia minora. It's the size of a pellet but smaller than a pea. It's usually on one side. I don't get this very often at all. My pain level is not severe it's like an irritating discomfort. When I touch or wipe then it feels like a really sore pimple. Only once did this rupture. It seems to go away on its own. You are not the only one that has this problem. I'm not entirely sure what causes this, but it's normal women get these. I plan to go have a discussion with my doctor about this. Your story I relate to and I understand. Just you are not alone.

I'm in my early teens and I'm so glad I found this cuz mine is also in the labia minora so ingrown hairs and things were definitely not the correct answer to what was going on I was worried it could be something bad but maybe it's just something that happens and then goes away, dunno.

Hello... I've been on site for the past two days looking for a situation like mine and yours is as close as it gets.

Yesterday I went to my Gyn and gave me antibiotics... I really hope this helps it go away faster...

If you have any other piece of advice or update it will be great... thank you

Thanks for the L- lysine tip! I had one that lasted for almost 2 weeks. Sitz (?) baths helped a lot for me. When it finally broke, I was so happy. Then, later that night it began hurting again...I checked and seen where the 1st one had been, but now there was another one beside that. I was so depressed, because I didn't want to go through another 2 weeks of this again.
I read what you said about the L-lysine, and I had some at home, so I immediately began taking them (at the amount you said) and it was gone in a day or 2...3 Tops!! Now every time I think I might be getting one, I immediately start taking it again. That was about 4 months ago. I've been lucky so far, and haven't had any more yet. I'd definitely recommend any one to start taking them if you feel one coming on. Thanks again for the tip!
