Hi everyone. im 13 and i have a bump covering like a smalll part of my right nostril... its not in the septum though but it does hurt ...its like a balll of skin...any suggestions? it feels weird when i breathe and it hurted b4 it formed..it only hurts when you move your nose..also do you know any home remedies for sunburn bumps on my lip?

Oh my god yes!!! I was so intrigued and confused. Did the little smooth thing then crumble? I have no idea what it is but man am I glad that others have it.
Although this feels like an old thread, there are a couple recent replies.
I too have had this for a number of months. It started after I caught a bad cold and was blowing my nose so much that it got a bit raw in there. So raw in fact, that the tissue wore away and exposed the septum cartilage. That's when it started to grow and didn't stop. Probably not the best idea but I've been cutting it back when it gets big enough to nip. It bleeds a ton and then subsides. It hasn't become a big problem but it's interesting to see others with this same condition. I haven't gone to a doctor; probably won't until it gets worse which is the usual guy approach. (33/M, very healhty otherwise)
I had the exact same problem it was on the dividing wall of my nose and it didn't hurt I used a flashlight to try to see what it was then usin a pair of twizers poked it to make sure it didn't hurt and to be honest I just ripped it off I didn't hurt and now it's like it was never there

iT SEEMS A LOT OF PEOPLE OF THE SAME THING. MINE IS IN THE SEPTUM AND SEEMS TO HAVE STARTED NEAR THE BOTTOM OF THE NOSE BUT NOW IT HAS MOVED UP TOWARDS THE EYES. IT'S SO FAR UP THAT IT TOUCHES THE OTHER SIDE OF MY NOSE IN THAT PASSAGE. IT SEEMS TO BE ABLE TO MOVE BY GENTLY PUSHING ON IT IN A CERTAIN DIRECTION. IT'S ABOUT THE SIZE OF A SMALL MARBLE WE USE TO PLAY WITH AS KIDS. LIKE YOU I HAVE NO PAIN BUT BEING IT TOUCHES THE OTHER SIDE OF THE NOSTRIL NOTHING COMES OUT WHEN I BLOW MY NOSE. IT'S LIKE A DAM HOLDING BACK WHATEVER. IF I PUT A Q-TIP UP THERE AND MAKE A PASSAGE, THEN BLOW MY NOSE RIGHT AWAY NOTHING BUT BLOOD COMES OUT. I KEEP BLOWING UNTIL THE BLEEDING STOPS WHICH CAN TAKE UP TO A DOZEN TISSUES. THAT'S ABOUT IT. I GUESS I SHOULD GO TO THE DOCTORS BUT I KEEP PUTTING IT OFF.
Anyone in this string that has lumps have sinus congestion issues and use any types of nasal sprays?
I have all three, lumps, congestion and I use nasal sprays.
My nose is in the exact same condition. The lump started at the bottom and is now up closer to my eyes. I have problems blowing my nose too. In the one nostril where most of the lump is I use a q-tip to open up a space and then blow. It usually works. also when you put the q-tip through to the other side try to clean up there as much as you can with it. My other nostril is messed up too, The "dirt" that is up there is as hard as a rock or hard as bone and it goes all the way up. I started using a humidifier in my room and bought some saline to spray up there to try to get it wet and softer. Plus I bought nose wash which helped. Then my doctor gave me a prescription for Mupirocin 2% which has the same consistent of Vaseline. My nurse told me not to use the Vaseline without petroleum since petroleum is flammable. Since I wear oxygen she said it could be hazardous. They do sell it without. As for the stuff that is hard as a rock, I had to resort to my little finger nail. :o{
I have one too in my right nostril. It is getting bigger and causing my nose to look weird. I'm going to the Dr soon.

I have a similar bump in my right nostril. Do not actively touch or rub it or it will in fact hurt
