I have been using Endovan for about 4 months now, and it really has helped with my endometriosis. I dont have to take tylenol for my cramps anymore, and my pain mid cycle is about 95% gone. My tummy is flatter too cause I'm not so bloated all the time from the inflammation. My periods have become pretty regular too, which was not the case for me before I started taking it. And just this past month (3 months in) is when I started to notice more energy. I was so tired all the time before I started taking it. Hope this helps, I know it was hard to find info on it when I was researching the product :)
My doc told me I was going into menopause and I thought that I would finally be done with the agonizing pain, so I was incredibly happy for menopause. But even when my periods stopped, I still got cramps every 4 weeks or so... some really bad. I increased the natural progesterone I am taking and/or took it for a longer period of time than the doctor prescribed to help with pain.
After about 8 months of no periods and managing the cramps and nausea, the pain suddenly got MUCH, MUCH worse. Worse than pretty much anything I've ever had before. The pain was REALLY bad on each side of my bowel so that even walking hurt. And of course, it was causing A LOT of intestinal and digestive problems. I had been taking 2 progesterone caps a day, but increased it as much as 10 day, just to be able to function and I was just BARELY function because I still had a lot of pain and that much progesterone made me drowsy--so it was very hard to work.
The pain was also pretty much constant. Not 3 or 4 days a month like with my periods. I was in agonzing pain for weeks at a time. I might get a week of relief but not much. I was at my wit's end (and pissed off that going thru menopause did not get rid of my Endo). When I think about it, it makes sense though. I read Dr. John Lee's books and he said that in menopause, our estrogen levels do drop, but our progesterone levels drop about 100 times more than estrogen. Since we Endo suffers are already estrogen dominent, menopause just makes it worse. If you have endo cysts, there are going to react to the sharp drop in progesterone. And the cysts produce more estrogen.
Luckily I had a follow up visit with my doctor (who prescribes only natural hormones). They told me about Endovan. The nurse told me about a woman who had a huge, golf ball sized cyst on her ovary that they could see thru her abdomen. She took Endovan and it shrank the cyst. It is not a drug like Lupron. It is a natural product. I was skeptical but desperate so I ordered a few bottles.
It took a few weeks to really feel like it was reducing the pain and helping the digestive problems, but it IS working. I started taking it on Oct 16th and I have no pain right now and have had none several weeks. The bottle says you can take 2 caps 3 times a day to speed the dissolving process, so I did that after the first week. Then, after you think it is all dissolved, you can take the "maintenance" dose which is less. It also says you can go off of it after the Endo is dissolved. I just got thru the first bottle and after I use up the other bottles, I might try going off of it just to see how I feel. But, if I have any pain, I will go back on the maintenance dose.
After about 30 years of dealing with Endo pain, I FINALLY feel like I found something that works and doesn't have horrible side effects (like the drugs that most MDs prescribe).

Bett,
I just ordered some Endovan. I am so desparate for a relief as I have already had a hysterectomy! I ran across an advertisement.....I am a little scared to actually try it though? It seems a little odd that you don't see a whole lot of reviews and the only ones I do see are that it's amazing....If it's so amazing how come you don't hear more about it?
I'm skeptical, too!
Especially since most of the rave reviews here are "Guests"
Update: They sent me a free bottle! I emailed the company and told them I was skeptical and didn't want to spend so much money for something that may or may not work for me. I asked them if they had a trial size I could buy. So they sent me a free bottle. I was very impressed by that. So I have not been religious about taking it but I do have to admit that it really seems to have helped so far. Not sure if it's because I'm on a down wave of pain or if it really is working. Going to keep trying it and see though!
I don't know why we haven't heard more about it. Since it is a "natural" or "alternative" product, we probably are not going to hear about it from most MDs. They usually only prescribe the harsh drugs like Lupron or birth control pills. After my second Lap, I was determined to find something that helped stop the growth so that I wasn't having surgeries every 3 years. I read A LOT of medical books and "alternative" medical books like Dr. John Lee's books (if you looked at my book shelves, you might think I was dying because of all the medical books.).
I found that changing my diet helped (getting off cow dairy helped A LOT with pain). Various herbs have helped more than the prescription pain meds did --- like Red Raspberry Leaves and Primrose Oil, although I was still taking Advil with them. I'd done so much research years ago, that I hadn't researched Endo for quite a few years. I figured I'd read all there was to read at this point. I still had pain, but for the most part it was fairly managable.
It wasn't until I was in menopause for about 8 months that the pain got completely unbearable for me. I'd been experiencing nausea every morning for months, but wasn't sure what the cause was. Then, the cramps, severe backaches, headaches and bowel/digestive problems got worse than anything I'd ever had before. None of the usual alternative treatments were getting rid of it. I was taking really high doses of natural progesterone, which helped some with the cramps, but made me so sleepy, it was really hard to work. Since I'd already done so much research, and was already doing, or had tried, everything that all the books said to do, it didn't even dawn on me to research more solutions anymore.
My doctor's office is the one who told me about Endovan. They are very much into using only bioidentical hormones and not using harsh drugs to "solve" problems. They told me that a woman came in with a huge ovarian cyst. They said it was like baseball size and they could see it poking thru her skin. They said Endovan shrunk it.. Honestly, if they hadn't been the ones to tell me about Endovan, I might not have tried it. I probably would not have believed it after all the years of trying everything under the sun.
I am really shocked at how well it is working considering how many other things I have tried over the years. I am almost finished with my 3rd bottle and getting low, so, to stretch it out while I'm waiting on a new shipment, instead of taking 2 capsules 2 or 3 times a day, I started taking 1 capsule once or twice a day. I can tell a difference. I am getting crampy, bloated and nauseous. The pain isn't nearly what it was before I started Endovan, but I think if I went off of it completely, I would be miserable again. I was hoping I could eventually stop taking it, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen----at least not right now. But, if not, it is still worth it to me as I was already taking a BUNCH of other things for the pain and they were not working nearly as well. I can stop those things and just take Endovan. Before Endovan, I was seriously considering a hysterectomy even though I knew it probably wouldn't get rid of all the pain because I think my Endo is elsewhere, specifically my intestines and nerves leading to my back. But, when I was in so much pain, I was willing to do just about anything. I'm sure you know what I mean.
Honestly, if I were you, I would try it. It has a money back guarantee, so if it doesn't work for you, they say you can send it back.
I was diagnosed with Stage IV Endometriosis 2 years ago and was told by my doctor that I needed a hysterectomy. Since I was still hoping to have kids, she tried to clear away as much of the endo as she could. Well, we tried off and on for a year with no luck. Still had horrible periods, VERY heavy bleeding, large clots, spotting all month and cramping could be unbearable at times. The doctor suggested I go on the pill but I refused. Did not want to add any synthetic hormones in my body again which I believe I may have gotten severe cervical dysplasia from about 12 years ago. I came across the Endovan website when googling a natural approach to try to cure endo. I have been taking it for 2 full months along with progesterone cream I was reading about from Dr. Lee and I feel like a different person. My periods used to be a full week with 5 of the days extremely heavy. Now I am having only 1 moderately heavy day and about 3 light days so my period is shorter now with hardly any cramps. I can't even tell my period is coming. No spotting anymore. I plan on ttc after my next cycle so hopefully this will make a change. So if you're on the fence about it, give it a shot! It's definitely working for me! :-D
How is that working out for you?? My wife is thinking about taking both!! We are trying everything we can to have a child but her endometriosis is really bad!! She already had surgery to try and remove the cyst but they came back stronger!! She is on the depo as well thinking about trying this as well but like yourself doctors have told her to get a hysterectomy but I'm not trying to hear that and truly believe there is another way so I wanted to asked you is taking both healthy??
Just curious if any one has any updates on how Endovan is working for them? I came across it last night while suffering through yet another bout of pain, and after reading through all the glowing reviews, made my husband read through the site. He's more skeptical than I am, but he decided it's worth trying to even get a little relief from the pain!
I've not been officialy dx'd with Endo, but all signs point that direction. All docs until my last GYN visit have been so quick to put me on BCP, despite my explicit dislike of them (we have lots of blood disorders in my family and I have a variation of a clotting disorder, let alone not wanting anything synthetic or manufactured messing with my hormones). If at all possible, I'd prefer a natural supplement...which is why I was very interested when I saw this.
I ordered my first bottle last night - shipped already! I'll try to remember to post an update once I've been on it for a few weeks. Thanks to all who have shared their stories, and here's to a less painful 2014! :)
No this isn't an advertisement. I have been suffering from endometriosis for 16 yrs now. I started taking endovan a 1yr and 6 months ago. This pill works. No more unbearable cramps or pain. Seriously try it!!
I have been taking endovan for about a year and its wonderful. Ive had pain free cycles , with way fatigue and nausea. I have been trying to become pregnant for about 1 year and a half without any success so im really not that sure on how its supposed to help in that area but with everything else its been amazing
sorry I meant to type way less fatigue
I had surgery in 2004, lost an ovary, fallopian tube, had my uterus scrapped, intestines separated, and bladder scrapped. I did the horrible lupron induced menopause. I was 24 at the time. My docotor said it was one of the more advanced cases she had seen. She told me I would have a hard time concieving and also carrying to term. So fast forward to now...Went the mirena route and it has been 5 years almost that I had that placed. At 32 going on 33 I still don't have an urge to have children but my symptoms are back like they were back in 04- pain, cramps, constant bleeding, fatigue (although I am not anemic), lower back pain, and painful intercourse. They want to do another laproscopic surgery. I want to have the IUD out but want sometime without a new one to see what I want to do. I also stumbled on this feed hoping to find some feedback about endovan. It's not cheap!! Also as a nurse I am very skeptical about things but I do love homeopathic things. I am going to order some and let you all know if it works.
I read through all of these posts before I ordered Endovan and checked out the ingredients with my specialist. I've had 3 surgeries (to free those body parts that were welded to each other and to my side). She said there was nothing in there that would harm me. The first week I took it was fine - no apparent side effects. Beginning week two, the cramps were back, slightly worse, and they lasted all day along with diarrhea - thought I was catching the flu. I dropped down to one capsule and that didn't help so I stopped taking it. The only thing I found that was helpful over these many years was exercise. As difficult as it is to get on the elliptical every morning sometimes, after that and some stretching, the pain is manageable. When I'm under too much stress and need something, I have a prescription for Celebrex.
I've just entered menopause so I know my condition won't get any worse. (After it reached my lungs, I was put on aygestin 365/year.) I may try it again in the future - not sure yet. I was really disappointed that when I wrote to the 'contact us' section of the Endovan site, no one responded - twice. They still haven't answered my questions but I received an email to write a review. I may do that - with this text so you'll be able to see if they edit it.
Good luck and prayers to all.
Thank you so much for your review. I'm always skeptical of reviews where everything is AMAZING.
