I have been using the powder for a week now and still no better. It's driving me crazy. It burns and stinks. I have had issues before but never this long or this bad.

Sounds like a fungus from not drying completely. Try cleaning the st a with white vinegarAnd let it air dry. The smell dissipates fairly quickly.

Guys, I am diabetic and obese and every now and then I would experience this redness/darkening, rashes, wetness, itchiness and stinky underbelly, anal and groin areas with lots of dead skin or yeast whenever I would rub the skin in those areas. What I would do is thoroughly wash and lather the areas with any germicidal or antibacterial or surgical soap or sulfur soap for a few minutes and finish it off with Betadine feminine wash or skin cleanser and pat dry the area. I would do this before going to work or when I am at home. At night, after doing the washing regimen and before going to sleep, I would apply Betadine or any iodine-base antiseptic solution (using cotton balls) or antiseptic cream or ointment on the areas. I would sleep with my bottom naked and focus the electric fan on my bottom so that it will remain dry. Do this religiously until skin infection/yeast goes away. Also, steam iron your underwear and avoid consuming too much carbohydrates and sugar because yeast like them a lot and high sugar can worsen itchiness for diabetics. Anyways, Betadine can be very expensive but it's the the brand that really works for me but if you can get cheaper generic iodine-base alternatives, you try them. Hope to be of help and take care guys!

This sounds totally fungal. Try athletes foot cream. Also dry yourself completely after showering and do not take baths! Sitting in your own filth will not help this and always make sure your tub/shower is cleaned with bleach and also the surrounding area. You cant see most fungus and bacteria and if you touch the walls when your showering, you can carry stuff from the walls to your body! Also on Amazon they have fungal shower gel for your body and feet. Doesnt smell that bad either. And use medicated powder also. I use the J & J medicated baby powder with the yellow top. Its hard to find but they have it also on Amazon. Now, this is EXTREMELY important. Use a fan/hair dryer to make sure your skin is thoroughly dry before applying your items. This sounds a bit excessive BUT I keep a hair dryer in each room that I frequent or spend time in. My bathroom, bedroom and office. I dry all of my "stuff" when I start to itch or feel like I am going to get sweaty. And I mean all of your "stuff". Get a hair dryer stand at Sally's Beauty Supply, put it on a table or floor and get everything below the waist (hint) dry. Any questions? Just ask me, no problem! I just cant see someone suffering. Oh, and it sounds like you have ringworm which is very contagious and can be passed to other areas of your body very easily AND to other family members. Get that liquid fungal soap and be diligent about washing your hands. Take care!
