Hi and what really helps make sure your eating serving sizes and you eat 6 SMALL meals a day and walk,run,jog everyday but dont over work your self . and yes eat lots of fruits and veggies I been doing this for about a week and i have lose five inches around my waist you will be surprise just what you can do believe in your self and if you put it in your mind you can do anything you wants. Good luck guys just keep up the good work it will pay off :)

I am 13 and weigh 103 lbs. I don't really worry about my weight I worry about my health. Replace soda and the other crappy foods with some fruits like strawberries or kiwi. I don't drink soda. I used to love it but now I hate it. who cares what the other girls think... tell them they need to die in a black hole. don't worry about how much you eat. be careful with what you eat. :) instead of drinking soda drink orange juice or milk... :) just because you weigh 150 or whatever doesn't mean a dang thing!!! it is a number... :) don't spend you life worrying about your fat or what other people think about you....

everyone i know im kinda late to this topic but honestly in one point in every teen / pre-tees life they have doubts about there weight. i have been struggling with my weight since i was 7 years old. im 12, going to be 13 in 2 months. i was a ballerina and now im a cheerleader an allstar cheerleader to be exact and i sweat alot at practice but i never kept it consistent at home. all my friends are there right weight so i know how it feels although the thing is people dont make fun of me because they see me trying.i weight 146.8 at the moment. and i also have that one guy that i like that i dont think he likes me back because of my weight. but the diffrence is that he knows me so well because he is my guy best friend. yeah crazy i know but thats a whole diifrent story. any ways i think every one needs a support system to do this , a friends / friends or family member whoever to go through this with u because honestly at one point we will try to give up and our support system will be there. so i say try and try again because you are worth it and the fact that all of you admit to being over wieght is probley one of the bigges steps next is actually doing it so for all those teens / pre-teens struglling just know we all go through it and there is hope

First of all, you are 12. You don't need to be worrying about the way boys think of you. Most boys don't care about your weight. They only care about your personality. You are beautiful!

Hey there.... I used to be concerned by my weight too… the thing tht worked for me was exersize. I exersize 3 times a day and am going into my 7th month. So far I hav lost 20 pounds… so weight loss takes time... Don't give up after a week!

I am twelve yrs. old too! i am about 142lbs, and i get teased all the time. I really love sports, and i work very hard. I don't eat like a pig, and i have no idea what is causing my weight gain. If you have any suggestions, please state them. I am very inquired to know. Thanks!

I know how that feels, the earthquake talk. Ugh! I hate it! All I do is cry anymore! I try to stand up for myself. I need to loose some wait, I'm 12 and 168lbs so don't feel bad about yourself! My brother went to the gym everyday, drank water, and cut his eatting habits, and in a year or so he lost over 100lbs! So if he can do it we can do it!!!

oh my gosh, tell the boy you like him!! that is what i did and I found out he liked me back, and a bunch of other hot guys!!! and if they tell you your fat just say, well get over it crack head. Who cares that he won't like you he never would be nice if already called you overweight! We have a lot of guys in the world that care about girls' bodies. well her ya go guys. life is not about girls and their body. sorry but your gonna have to suck it up!!

Hi..... I am an 11 year old who used to be fat but now im skinny. Ill help you out.  First thing is go try out for the sports team! Who cares what those mean people think, sports are for everyone no matter the shapes or sizes!  Second of all, starving yourself is never the answer.  Try downloading the app called fitness pal. It allows you to count your calories and tells you how much to exercise  each day. Even though the first time you exercise you wont see a difference in your wait but just wait... in time you will see a wonderful change.  Lastly,  tell the cutie that your into him!  Who knows, maybe he will like you back!  Just follow these tips and you will be healthy in no time at all!

i have tried almost everything but i know one thing for certain, NEVER EVER STARVE YOURSELF!

eat right and excersize and find a sport you like

it took me 8 years to find out volleyball is my sport

i am 12 years old and weigh 124 pounds and i know exactly what your going through

I understand you, Im 12 and 5'7 and im like 206. I usally suck it up and no one will notice, but im so selfconsious about the way i look. My shoulders are very big and i hate it. Im going to try and do everything that people are saying and hope it works, because my friends are way skinny and im going to the beach with them and want to look better, i hope that it works...

It's Ok! Don;"t let them get to you! YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL IN YOUR OWN SPECIAL WAY! Here's what you should do: *exercize 3 times a week for 2 hours and drink LOTS of water. *keep yourself busy. when people are bored there first instinct is EAT! well, don't. just keep yourself busy and you'll be surprised *remember that you can even eat your way back even if you excersize *if you usually have alot of junk food in your house, ask your mom if she could buy more healthy things. *a good technique is before you eat something, look at how many calories there are per serving. This will restrain you a lil' Hope this helps!!!!!!!!!!!
