Hello everyone

I’ve had some health problems lately and I spent a month in a hospital while the doctors were doing some researches to find out what is wrong with me. As it turns out, everything is fine, I am fine and they sent me home to rest. I am lacking energy now, I guess I got used to lying around all the time. I’ve gained a couple of pounds. I am thinking to try Danish diet. A friend of mine recommended it to me. Since my health is very fragile right now, I would like to know what are the benefits of this diet on overall health?

Hi Mellisa8

Sorry about your health. I hope everything is fine now.

As for your idea of trying Danish diet now- don’t do it. That wouldn’t be clever right now. Why don’t you wait till you feel better and then start with some diet program? I don’t know if you are aware of the fact that the maker of Danish diet is unknown. There are no (reliable) researches  that can tell us something about the safety of this diet. You could encounter some side effects or regain all your weight. You should consult with a doctor before you start with it.

Hello Mellisa8

I must agree with Aristotle40. You should totally talk to a doctor before trying this diet. It may not be good for you and your current health. This is a low calorie diet. But like VERY low.  Extremely. Daily calorie intake is approximately 600 calories per day, so while you are on this diet you may feel weak, tired and more importantly , be receptive to illness.

If you want to lose weight in a healthy way you should aim losing 1-2 pounds a week. And you should try some permanently life changes not the ones that last 13 days.
