I am posting because of mixed comments. my husband insisted on trying today the day of surgery, I was hesitant but the paper that he was released with says sex is ok when you are ready. Well he was ready so I let him. Although as of yet the pain medication has made it difficult for him to climax.

I had laporoscopic on the right side and Dr told me I could walk the same day as long as I walked slow and 2 weeks to return to normal I am sure every case is different based on the tear So dont criticize others because you dont know there situation
Depends on whether the surgery was open or laparoscopic. We had sex starting 72 hours after (being gentle and careful) without issue. I’m not sure about wanting it on the drive home with a swollen scrotum, but 5 days is definitely do able.
