I have just bought a packet of fresh miso from my local Asian supermarket, and I am very much looking forward to trying my own miso soup. I always love miso soup when I am in a Japanese restaurant, but I don't have any recipes. Do you have any to share with me perhaps? Thank you so much!

I must admit to not having made miso soup very often, but it goes something like - pour a reasonable amount of miso paste into the soup, along with vegetable stock. Leave to cook along with veggies if you wish, blocks of silken tofu and sliced chilly pepper. Onions are good, and some like noodles in their miso soup too. I am sure you can find a recipe on the web, but experimenting to make your own, perfect recipe is so much more fun! Oh, don't forget the Chinese cabbage, cut into little slices.
