First thing first. Always clean whatever you are going to use. The best thing is to disinfect it with rubbing alcohol then wash it with antibacterial soap and warm water. Hairbrush handles are good. If you're too tight try something that is not as thick like a fat pen or marker. If you can get condoms then use that to help protect yourself from bacteria. If you can't get condoms then rubber or latex gloves (like the ones doctors use) work great too. For lube do not use soap or lotions because they can irritate you and cause a yeast infection. You want to use something more natural. Your own spit is great plus it's free. The next best thing is coconut oil, or olive oil (not corn oil or canola). The idea is keep it as natural and clean as possible. Also don't be in a rush, take your time, learn your body and what makes you feel good. Don't expect to orgasm or squirt right away. Be realistic. I started masturbating at a young age, and it took many years before I even started to cum. I'm 43 now and can make myself have a rolling orgasm in 5 minutes but it took time to learn how all my parts react to all the different types of stimulation. Speed, pressure, lubrication verses dry, hard objects, soft objects, objects that vibrate, etc. There are many ways to masturbate. Just keep in mind if it hurts, STOP because you could be hurting yourself. Small cuts and bruises are not exactly visible when they're inside your vagina or anus. If you use a lubricant that makes you itch STOP and go wash it off with warm water because you could be allergic to it. Also don't go trying to be a "porn star" with the way you masturbate. Most of what you may see on the internet is fake anyway. Be careful not to lose something inside of you because then you'll have to go to the hospital and have it removed by a doctor or nurse. (No that has not happened to me but I've heard stories.) For me, I have found my own hands and fingers work best for masturbation (next to the real thing). I don't recommend that you go get a guy just cause of the whole penis factor. There will be plenty of time for that later. Relationships are not easy even with someone you love, so take this time to learn more about yourself and your body. Be clean and hygienic, use condoms, and or gloves, water based lubes or natural oils. Also once you do decide to go "all the way" always use protection and keep in mind that some STDs are passed on by skin to skin contact and not just body fluids. Do your research. Go to medical based websites. Ask your doctor, mother, favorite aunt about their experiences don't be shy. Knowledge is power. Ignorance kills. Be safe, be happy, and have fun with it.
