So , the virus can actually go away after my abnormal cells are removed? or it can go away only if i have a strong immune system?
Reply
That isn't entirely true. HPV can lead to cancer if it goes untreated. It can cause an abnormality in cervical cells which can become cancerous, but it does not definitely lead to cancer. It is still best to get it treated, obviously, but do take care. Does that make sense?

I had HPV years ago. Years later, I was tested for all STDs and my HPV test was negative. The doctor told me my body fought off the virus and I am no longer a carrier of the virus. It just disappeared on its own. I know it seems too good to be true, but it is true in some cases.

I don't see how that's possible though. Your body never successfully fights off a virus completely. Viruses are stored in the fluid of the spinal column, and can be accessed at any point so you are always a carrier of a given virus. I don't know why your doctor told you that, but it's not true. Is that specifically what your doctor said?

Doctors say that there is not cure for HPV and that the immune system has to fight it away. Here are some supplements that can help the immune system to fight it off. The important thing is to boost your immune system.

To be honest, there is a cure for HPV, it's just that the doctors do not want to offer it because they will lose money. I know this person that offers treatments for women who have HPV and have gotten the LEEP surgery many times before they went to see him. This treatment is not invasive, safe, and inexpensive and it has worked for all the people he has treated.

Also, if you douche with FULVIC ACID everyday, it can help get rid of it. Fulvic is a mineral that detox bad things from the body.

I may sound cray, but I also have been diagnosed with HPV and have precancerous cells. I just recently found out about all this and I know it is working becaues the warts are starting to go away. and no surgery needed. Especially since I am now pregnant, I cannot overgo surgery.

Please be an advocate for your own health and don't always listen to the doctors that tell you things. Do your own research. Every since I found out I had this, I made Big changes in my life. I exercised 2-3times a day vigoriously. I chucked down vitamin Cs and those supplements from that website. I went to see this guy who gave me a treatment. I sat in the sauna. I took fulvic acid and douched up there. It's a lot, but fight for your body cause no one else will.

It is not true that doctors are withholding treatment because they're afraid of losing money. There is a vaccine, but there has been intense pressure to keep it from being available to all women, unfortunately. I do like your other information that you've contributed though. :-)

HPV & Gentile Warts can most defiantly clear out of your system. One day in 2007 I woke up with 3 warts on my penis, I freaked the hell out and I went straight up to my physician as soon as he examined the infected area and ran some testes he determined that it was a low risk HPV. causing Gentile Warts, at that time he told me that there was no cure but only treatment to make the Gentile warts go away. I have done the treatment and they went away, and then came back again three months later in different areas. though my spread of HPV was mild. from that day on I decided to lead a healthy life style, eating whole-foods and working out on regular basses. the recurring of Gentile Warts kept on repeating for a whole year but slightly decreasing as the time went by. Two years later I have not witnessed any Gentile worth and its been more than a year now that I have not seen any symptoms, I went to my Physician again and he re-did the tests and there was no sign of HPV anymore, it took about two years. but with determination of over coming the virus and living a healthy life style helped me get through it, and I truly feel reborn again. cause walking around knowing that I had the virus made me feel ashamed, and cut down my social life. just have faith.

hpv has 40 types some of which COULD cause diseases such as genital warts and cervical/penile/anal cancers. in most cases people have no symptoms. The virus is usually flushed out of your system in a few years time after infection. there are NO tests for hpv for men and the tests for women are more based around seeing if you are at risk for cervical cancer than they are about checking your "hpv status"

50% of the sexually active population has hpv. 20 million americans and 6 million more each year are infected. half of us have is one 16th of us will ever know we had it. and 90% of us who DO get it will eventually get rid of it. its not that big a deal as long as you make sure to keep an eye out for things that could be signs of cancer.

Hi, I was told I had HPV, I'm only 22. I am getting more testing done. I have had the H.p.v vaccine and I also had pink discharge, so I hope mine will go away. I also have a Bi-Polor disorder so It is even harder. I am extremely stressed about it. I am not, I am mean absolutely staying away from sex. I wonder if being sexual with your self makes it worse? I'm not going to do that either. I don't want warts or cancer. Mine is a very low grade problem right now at least, what do you girls do when you are sexual? I hope condoms.

I was diagnosed with HPV three months ago. My pap smear came back positive for it. However, I was re-papped three months later and the pap smear came back negative. The doctor informed me the body is a magnificent thing and can sometimes cure itself. Mine happened to cure itself. He said the only way it will come back is if my boyfriend still has the virus, or if I get another strain.

No it won't. You can't say 100% that it WILL.

As for disapearing, etc... I had them appear during my first pregnancy, and disapear by my post partum. The warts can come and go, they are triggered by stress, immune systems, etc... I never saw anything, never had any problems, but about 10 yrs. later I noticed intercourse w/ my spouse hurt. Went to Dr, Carcinoma In Situ VIN III, ONE stage more and it's cancer. So don't screw around!! I had a cone procedure, I eat clean, and stopped smoking. So far so good, but I don't take it lightly. Just ask yourself: Do you want to die because you were too embarrassed to stay on top of your appts.? The warts and infection do take time to form, so a yearly check-up, and even every 2 yrs, is okay. Just do yourself and your loved ones a favor, don't blow it off as it won't happen to you.

I was diagnosed with HPV about 7 years ago. I had to undergo treatment to remove abnormal, precancerous cells from my cervix. I forget the name of the procedure, but it where they freeze your cervix. Then I had to return to my gynecologist every 3 months, then every 4 months, every 6 months, and finally, every year. My pap smears have always come back normal ever since, but I always had the understanding that HPV would ALWAYS be there and could present itself at any time. HOWEVER, I went for a pap smear today (7 years later), and not only did my pap smear come back normall, but my gynecologist told me that I beat the virus. He said that in some cases people do beat it. I can't tell you what a relief this is to me. I have had two family members die from cervical cancer. I really hope that whoever is reading this seeks regular gynecological exams/check ups, because I credit that and my doctor for helping me through what was an extremely difficult time.

hello. iv just turned 28 and last yr i was diagnosed with hight risk of HPV. i've never paniced and cryed over somet so much spesially when i was told it could lead to cervical cancer. i had a small op (colposcopy) to removed any precancerous cells, i had a letter back to say that they had been completely removed and that there was no cause for concern and that i would have to go back in six months time for a further smear.

ever since i found out i had this it's got me down and dispressed me neally every day, alot of things go through my head, like what if the HPV has gotten worse, or has the cancer cells come back, is there any type of cure or vaccenation i can have. anyone got any answers for me please just to ease my mind?

That just gave me hope. I was diagnosed with HPV yesterday but still awaiting test results. I've had these little growths since 2009 and now was the first time I decided to finally ask. This just gave me hope. Like thank you. The nurse that diagnosed me made me feel so ashamed and a low life.

I read that hpv goes away on its own because the hpv unlike other viruses lives in the skin not the blood cells
