I'm 14 too, and well about 2 years ago I weighed 350+ lbs. Now I weigh
about 199 to 200 lbs. I'm still needing to get down at about 165 or
lower. What I typically do, is drink water, sit ups and push ups,
doesn't matter how many as long as it's above 5 or 10. I walk/jog/run
around a 100 acre field, but you can walk to the next street over, and
what I mean by that is a street not next door, but like a few down. I am
limited to two diet sodas, I am also cautious of the ingredients, but
they can't give cancer right after you take a sip. Limit meals to about 2
or 3, you can have snacks, but they need to be a small proportion, it
doesn't matter what you eat, just kind of take it down a notch. Here's a
meal you and your family can try. There is something called a Hollywood
cabbage diet, and there's a great soup you can make with a good amount
of cabbage and it tastes real good. All you need is about a head and a
half of cabbage, cut up/diced. Stewed Tomato paste. Onions. Pork or beef
sausage (optional). Mixed Vegetables, I prefer the stir-fry vegetables.
Or a choice of bacon or hog jowl, for a little added flavor. It's a
healthy meal. And like a lot of foods, don't eat it all the time,
because we both what happens. It's the size and how many times a day you
eat it, it doesn't matter what you eat, it matters how much of it and
how many times a day. I'd recommend, you have a light to full maybe
almost full breakfast with your normal eggs and bacon (turkey bacon is a
great option, but you can eat regular bacon) Or buttered toast, it
really doesn't matter the bread, because all wheat bread is made the
same and all white bread is made the same, it's doesn't matter. A snack
can be crackers or pretzels. Lunch, turkey or ham sandwich. It's good to
look at other options of food, but it doesn't matter what you eat. It
just matters how much of it you eat, and how much you move around.
That's why some football players eat like steaks or whole pigs everyday,
they're mostly at practice through the week, all the people who move
exercise constantly, can eat a lot more than someone, like myself, who
normally sits at there computer all day. I mean, I would be outside, but
it's 110 degrees outside and I can't handle heat, but someone who gets
very little to minimum movement, I say, you'd have to eat 2 times, if
not once, but there are exercises people do in houses. You can do your
sit ups in the house, jumping jacks, heck it's cheaper than going to a
gym, unless your family can afford it, but it's a lot cheaper to
exercise in the comfort and air conditioning of your own home. That's I
do, when it's not hot and like I said, you can exercise in your room or
in the living or rec room area, and get some great results. See, we're
in that stage where were still kids, and it doesn't take all that much
to lose weight, but then will also becoming young adults, so we need to
work harder than a 10 or 12 year old at losing weight.

I'm 14 and I feel like I am a little bit on the chubbier side but what I do is before I am going to eat something I say do I really need this. If it is no I don't eat it or I replace it with something more healthy like if you were to eat a bag of chips you can instead eat an apple or some type of fruit. And also if you think that drinking your calories will help it won't because it doesn't give you the sensation of being full so therefore you drink/eat more calories so stick to whole healthy foods. And also find a sport that you like that will force you to do a 1/2 an hour of cardio at the least once a day. This will raise your motabolism and you will feel less hungry as often and you shouldn't ever starve yourself because if you do that you will lose as much muscle as you do fat and I don't think you want that. Pretty much 4 easy steps:
Make healthier decisions for your nutrition
Exercise a bit more
Drink lots of water
SLEEP!!!!

sweety u dnt have to worry about loosing weight u just have to worry about being healthy and fit. dont need to make a goal or anything just remember to exercise and eat according to your regular diet . when i was your age i was 51 but within a month i reached 49. its just a matter of daily exercise . u can skip a few days if your exhausted with school and remember to drink a lot of water. and u can eat chocolates once in a while but just make sure you get exercise and when your eating remember to eat how much u can and not force yourself same thing with exercise do it till u can. and remember u are perfect just the way u r because god made you that way dont let any of your friends or anybody else let you down by their nasty coments ;] tc

hi im 1 4 years old and iv tried loads of diets but i don't seem to stick to them,i want to lose weight,because i get bullied at home and at school,my mum wants me to lose weight so i can fit in to nicer clothes,because i always wear the same clothes because i either can't find any in my size or because my old ones don'y fit me. so please could anyone help me because i don't want to be overweight anymore thankyou:-)

Im just like you but I wiegh 180 something I used to be 170 but I gained wieght having pure junk food for 2wks or so. I know how you feel. I bet your beautiful. Just drink water in the morning and have 2 eggs with orange juice , dont put oil. Then before lunch have water , try to be balnced have meat , protein, nd a little bit of carbs. Have lil snack so when dinner comes you wont want to have carvings for some more food and Drink Water. Oh, and some docters say to have two tea spoons of apple vingear ? I think thats what its called? And jog in place for 10 mins. Do small sit ups. Stretch. Try to go walking everyday or jog.

well first your 14 you don't need to lose weight your perfect just the way you are but if you are really sure just do lots of walking walk to school and home from school if you live close if you live far get the bus half way and walk the rest its optional also on the weekends go for a jog and always keep active and also try to eat healthier dont stop eating that is dangerous just eat more veg and fruit and less junk food instead of chocolate bars get flapjacks or go ahead bars their really good. or even if you have the nintendo wii play wii fit or running games they help but remmeber your only 14 you dont need to lose weight your still young just have fun.

i am 14 as well and have been trying to lose weight. i found that by cutting out almost all of the breads and pastas and other carbs that it helped alot. even if your parents don't buy special diet foods try to avoid the carbs and excersice is the next best thing the more your out and about the better. it may also be a good idea to let your parents know your serious aboutlosing weight because if they take you more seirously they might start buying toward the healthy side

I'm 13 and I also wanted to lose weight too because I am starting school soon, so I googled it and I tried a diet called the 3 hour diet. (It dose last longer than 3 hours) You eat breakfast in the hour you wake up, you can NOT skip a meal, drink a glass of water before every meal, make sure that you eat only one snack a day, eat a small meal every 3 hours, check to see if you are thirsty not hungry and a lot of othe things like that you just have to google "3 hour diet"

Im 14 years old too and my parents say the same thing to me but i tried doing more exercise,cut down on the things i eat throughout the day,i just eat my 3 meals a day (breakfast,dinner and tea),not large portions though&i was 9 and a half stone and im now around 8 and a half stone. This really worked for me so why not give it go,but it does take time and effort!hope this works:)

don't feel bad. one thing i found that helps, is drink a lot of water before you eat, that way, the water will fill you up a bit, you won't be as hungry, and you won't eat as much. it's also important to know the difference between a craving, and being hungry. ask yourself, do i just want this 'food, or do i need this food. if u u don't eat it. if u just want it, don't eat no matter how bad you want it. hide it from yourself if you have to. just drink some milk instead. if you tend to eat every time you walk into the kitchen. just avoid the kitchen. hope this helps!
