hi i am also 12 i would cut down on any takeaways,fizzy drinks and sweets this is a starting point then you can eat a balanced diet if this dont work i would eat more protein and try and eat less carbs eat manly green veg and lots of water

UGGHHHH!!! I am seriously ready to pull out my hair!! My friggin overweight-ness keeps me from living!!!

Ok, so, I am 14 too (heyyy) and last time I got weighed was at the doctors (but that was like 3-4 months ago so idk if it's reliable anymore) and at that time I was 160 or 162 or around there and I'm liiiikeee 5 feet 3 inches? Yeeaaahh....and I need to lose weight, I want to be anywhere from 100-110 and I'm sooo frustraited with my body, I mean, have you guys read that thing that says

"Dear Excess Body Fat,

Make Your Way To My Boobs or Get The %^#* Out"

(censored bcuz idk if yall coo wit it or not, so i respect yalls opinions or watever)

And this pretty much covers my relationship between me and my dumb metabolism/genetics/bad lifestyle

***BEFORE YOU JUDGE***

I DO NOT have any unhealthy eating habits, I never eat candy, never eat junk food, blah, blah, blahhh, and I havn't drank anything but water since I was 7 years old I believe (my overweight baby-fat is still around). So I'm pretty sure there's something else that's holding me back. Recently (about 1 month ago) I started exercising some and at first that kinda worked, then again I'm not sure because of the fact that my mom's scale has been broken since before I was born (probably) and I am just getting SO TIRED!! I'm about to just start being unhealthy and not eating but exercising still and I don't care how stupid/and or bratty-typical-teenager I sound, I am done with this weight stopping me from being the best I can be.

For real though, I am normally a very lively, enthusiastic person who loves her life, like a frikking female version of a gay guy (yes, that fabulous) but lately, I've found that I've lost my drive/or whatver you call it, and it's just because I am not confident in my body!! Confidence is my everything!! It sounds dumb but...eh.

So we had to buy a flipping men's hoodie thing that I loved at the moment because it was sooo warm and cozy but the next day when I go to school with it I see it is clearly a men's jacket, I mean, wide shoulders, long waist-thing--the whole hoo-hah.....

>:c and it made me (embarassing crapy coming up) sorta cry because I tried to tell my mom this and she didn't get it, I didn't really expect her to though, and she started yelling at me and I was just really stressed out because she pointed out everything I didn't need to hear (becuase I already know). She started yelling about how I didn't fit all the womens sizes and that only the mens would fit me and lalalala and I just got mad/sad in a way I havn't gotten in a LONG time....

if youre 14 you shouldnt even weigh 98 pounds, im pretty sure thats underweight, you dont need to lose weight at all

i am 13 years old and i weigh 215 lbs my birthday is 3 months and two weeks and i want to lose at least 65 lbs by two wks before my b-day can any one help me or give me and weight loss tips.

hey guys im also 14 yrs old and im in 9th grade i want to lose weight before my 15 birthday and i weight abput 135 and i dont feel great so what i have been doing is waking up @ 5:00 am and goojng out for a jogg like about for 30-45 min not that long but its something i do everyday. then i have been drinking 2 gallons of water ecah day i have to finish both gallons by 9:45 pm because i sleep @10:00. i also dont really eat alot but friuts other than just running in the moring i do exercises @ home such as:10 push ups , 75 basic crunches in a row, 10 min of lunges, 5 min of briges, 30-40 squats, 2 min planks, & 50 sit ups. Honestly all this does help becaus ei already lost like 30 pounds. All this my be tiering but i think its worth it :-|

Hi I can relate to what your are going through I was over weight when I was 10 all the way though 13 at 14 I started to do crazy things to lose the weight, I staved myself even toke diet pills that almost killed me I was so desperate to lose the weight. Fast... That was the wrong way to lose the weight!!! It is very dangerous I know because I tried it. First you must understand that you should love yourself no matter what, then if you want to be healthier make some changes do some research online about a good meal plan and exercise plan for young people. make a schedule sheet for exercise and if helpful also make one for a healthy meal schedule sheet hang it in your room where it’s visible and remember always drink lot’s of water but please don’t try to do pills you are to young and it could hurt you the best thing to do are exercising, dancing, jumping rope, running, walking, sports and much more . Try to always be moving around you’ll lose the weight. Don’t give up I know you can do this the all natural way Great success to you

Same here I understand it is hard but u have to stay focused I was all ways told u can eat whatever u want but less of it and exercise drink water what I need to no is will my stomach fat come off cuz I am young or do I need to do cardio work out also don't eat a lot of junk eat slower that way u can feel when u are getting full

Well, if you know how to use chopstick you can use it. Because if you use it it will decrease the amount of food you eat. You will get full easily because youll be tired of it. When you are watching tv or anything, ecxercise your arms with dumbles(dont know the spelling) drink water whenever you get hungry. Dont eat anything oily and sweet and eat vegetables(dont eat salty foods so when you lose weight at the same time you make your skin healthy too. Eat a lot of tomatoes) jog every morning. You will atleast lose 15kg per month. Not sure but this is what i said to my friend and she lose 20kg in one month.

im 165pounds an its hard to loose wight cuz no one wont by food to eat so i dont tempt to eat i wish i looked like other girls in my school but i cant loose wight when i do more comes back ive alwayys got picked on anstill am i get tired of it cuz every one uses it against me so if i were u start running or something i now its hard but yea im not good at it eatheir i hate not being abel to loose wight :'(

i now how u feel im 14 an 165 pounds i always wanted to loose wight but every time i do i gain wight back i try every thing still cant it pisses me off i wish i cout were a bekini wit no woreies an were what i want with no wories of what people will seebut all i think is that they all just see fat i wish i looked like all the other girls in school all butifull an stuff but i grew up with out a mom so i never learned that stuff that they can do always did things the guy way but now i try to switch but i just end up getting made fun of
