Im 14 too and I wanted to lose weight, Its good to lose a little weight but you need to be VERY careful, I tried losing weight and it worked but I went WAY to far and now I am Anorexic. Its good to be Healthy but you need to know when to stop and when you reach a healthy weight be happy.

I came across this article and i'm 14 years old myself. I've never really been happy about my body, I've never had a flat stomach in my life, always had this little blob of fat on my stomach and it's always annoyed me so much. My tighs and my hips is where I add on a lot of fat, I already have wide hips but always when I wear tight jeans I get a muffin top and I hate muffin tops... so when I started school again I thought I need to start exercising. I've never really liked jogging/running and i've never really been into any sports. I love food since my moms a cook so food is something we eat a lot in my family but it's always healthy. What I did though was to join cross country in my school, it's where we jog around to get a healthier body and I find asked a friend to do it with me because she's good at running and she would keep on pushing me since she has a fast pace. I also started doing fitness-kick after school which is where we learn self protection, kick boxing and boxing. I really like doing it because the teacher pushes you and makes you do it until you almost fall in to pieces because you're so tired. I also changed my eating habit because I noticed myself eating way too much in between meals.
For breakfast I would have fruits and a high fat yogurt with nuts.
In between snack, just a fruit
For lunch I would have a salad, usually chicken or tuna salad.
Coming home from school I would always do 45 minutes of jogging then I'd have a banana because I would always be starving after school.
For dinner I ate whatever was served that day but sometimes I would make my own dinner which would consist of a chicken salad with fruits in it.
I've now done this for around 2 months and I finally have a flat belly! but I still have my muffin top but hopefully after more exercising it will go away :) You have to find a lifestyle that you will be comfortable with having, you can't keep on thinking that it's a diet because I feel like I put my mind in a depressed mode thinking I can't eat this or that. Just enjoy the way you are because you will achieve great results afterwards!

Im 14 and my weight is 80 kg and im 1,72 cm, i'm realy strong im strongest in my class and every thing but the thing is that i got fat over my muscels so u cant se the muscels i whant to lose the weight relay mutch i have got the problem my whole life and it starts to get realy ennoying :/ could someone help it would realy help the rest of my life :)?

look i am a 14 year old guy and a year ago i weighed 190. i was 5,4 and really week. so when i wanted to lose weight i just started to go outside and run around. and drank a lot of water. now i am 155 5,7 and strong but i still have a ways to go. all you need is . and time. dont rush it it will take time go run are walk are just do something mor than what you are now.

Hi i am 14 and i weigh 43 kilos! i am also an athlete soo i have alot of muscle which weighs more than fat. i usually eat one weetbix for breakfast, nothing for lunch, before training which is after school i eat a tuna and lettuce sandwich, and for dinner 2 eggs with salad or lentil soup which is high in protein.

you need a decent breakfast, skipping meals means your body thinks you are starving it and any food you eat will turn strait to fat. Carrots - the wonder veg - are an aid to slimming, your body doesnt digest them very well so fills you up without fattening you up!

im 14 and i am 180 and i wanna weigh 120 also.. when i go to the pool i have to wear shorts and a t shirt... so i know how you feel i wanna be skinny for once!!!! DONT GIVE UP AND I WONT GIVE UP! :)
