Hi everyone, I am 58 and just started getting pains around my belly button too. I have no clue what it could be. I think it might be when my stomach is full as I am about 50 lbs overweight mostly around my stomach, or haven't been able to go to the bathroom, also when I am in the car wearing my seatbelt. I only get it once in awhile maybe once or 2x a month then not again for 3/4 months. It's not all the time so I am trying to pin point what I have done at the time the pain comes. I massage it from the outside to the centre, all around the edge which stops the pain almost right away. I am in Toronto so thank goodness I don't have to pay for the Doc's or surgery if needed. I hope you all will be ok as I have never heard of this at all. love & hugs
It’s the start of a UTI. get antibiotics
I love when the haven't an answer and say it's your imagination
When me and my boyfriend were play fighting he poked my belly button, and it made a slight pain, almost like I needed a wee, but only where my tummy button is. Is my belly button just too sensitive or something?
I had exactly the same issue. 38 year old male , weight more on heavier side. Had bariatric surgery 8 years ago. Been having this since 6 years. It comes and goes, and especially noted it happening when had food such as bread, bun etc or carbonated drinks. This time it stayed for more than a week. Last year did an ultrasound, liver function test etc and all were inferred as normal. This time pin prick pain stayed for more than a week and the pulling feeling became too severe. I visited another Gastro surgeon and he pulled out something from the navel , it's called navel stone , due to accumulation of dirt over years. Was advised to use cotton buds with soap water daily during bath to avoid this formation in future. Totally relieved of the pain.
I have been constipated, tired, bloated, drooling, peeing a lot, and weird pain in my belly button like a string tugging on it from the inside when I extend my body. What do these symptoms indicate?
