about 6 months ago i was getting really tired of how much i weight. so i stopped eating; thinking that this would help. for about 2 weeks i only ate dinner, thats it. i ended up loosing 12 pounds. but then all of a sudden i gained it all back plus more!! like what the hell?? can anybody tell me why this happened? when all of this happened i was 15 and weighed 145 pounds. and also, a little after that, i had surgery on my ankle and i am only now starting to walk on my own. i cant run or jump. since my surgery i have gained almost 20 pounds due to not being able to exercise. how can i lose weight without hurting my ankle? im tired of being unhappy with the way i look :'(

If you starve yourself like you did then your body realises it isn't getting anymore food so it stores as much as it can as fat for reserves so starving yourself isn't healthy and isn't good at all for losing weight. What you should be doing is eating 6-8 small portions of healthy food through out the day to speed your metabolism up so you burn calories quicker, you'll notice by the end of the day you feel like having a take away and lots of junk food but ignore that and eat something healthy, you'll soon get into a routine and the weight will drop off. Go for a walk everyday but take it easy 30 mins a day is sufficient.
