Me 2 !! lol
All children's hair grows way quicker than adults.
You could take Biotin that supports Hair, Skin, & Nails pills, You could also try Mane N Tail I would say use it every other time your Shampoo your hair, Drink plenty of water everyday, Don't get hair extensions they just damage your hair and they just pull on your hair and all that will do is make your hair fall out, Don't get your hair cut, I know they say you should get it cut like every 5/6 weeks but if you just keep getting your hair cut it wont be long. :)
I agree with "you are what you eat" and all of that, for a while I was struggling with an eating disorder, and my hair looked dull, it's growth slowed, and it even started falling out. My step mom is a hair stylist and said that hair thinning can also be due to changing shampoos and conditioners. I used to have 2 feet of hair(it took 5 ears to grow it from above shoulder length), and chopped it into a bob, but I drink lots of water, eat as healthy as a college girl can and do medium amounts of activities, (I walk, and do cardio with some lifting) with in 3 years I have a little over a foot of hair. I avoid heat, like straighteners, curling irons, and hair dryers and if I do use them I use them on the lowest setting. Trimming is also really important, because of split ends splitting further and breaking the hair, you should go for regular trims, but if I spot a dead end or a damaged strand I take scissors meant for hair (don't use c**p scissors, it will just pull and break hair, kind of like using dull scissors on thread) to above the split. Granted, you can't get all of the ends (you would drive yourself nuts looking) but it helps stop it from getting worse. I like to look up hair masks, too. There are plenty of home make masks that help with natural oils and strength, and keep your hair shiny and healthy looking! I also take "multi for her" vitamins it has biotin and b vitamins, for me it does the job, my sister whose hair doesn't grow as fast uses prenatal. She used to dye her hair and straighten it all the time, which really damaged her hair, she has opted to, instead of bleaching it out, go natural with some highlights, and gets, I believe, carotene treatments instead of frying her naturally wavy/frizzy hair, her hair is much healthier looking and is growing much faster now. Hope this info helps some of you!
People keep saying "no extensions" but you don't have to get glue in extensions, there are also clip in, too! These are wonderful, they don't hurt or pull, and you can take them out if you want short hair for the day. they are both human hair and non.
Don't do it........
ive been wondering the same thing!
I got a pixie cut last summer and loved it, but im currently attending University and just can not afford to get my hair cut like every three weeks to maintain the pixie, so im growing it out.
Unfortunately, its currently in a very awkward phase of growth, so im going to start taking some vitamins to supplement this and hopefully to make my hair a bit thicker and shinier.
On the subject of hair extentions: glue in or sewn in extentions can be damaging on the hair, but clip in ones have worked very successfully for me with minimal damage (because you don't sleep in them and you can take them out whenever you like).
I cut my hair into a very short boy cut and about two weeks later it's already down past my nose. That's nearly 2 inches of growth. Some people have very fast growing hair.
SEA KELP .I have bought that yesterday and a lady has told me its really goow to grow hair and make it longer and stronger also for those people who are losing their hair :)
i agree with u but using vitamin b complex hair of hand, face, legs will also grow. how to avoid that!!
Once a week I have been using 1 teaspoon of extra virgin coconut oil, just put it in your palm and rub it together till it melts then massage your scalp and leave it in for 1 hour. Then have a shower and use an organic shampoo to get it out, luke warm water be gentle. Allow your hair to dry naturally.
I also take 1 hair, skin and nails supplement daily and 3 magnesium tablets. My hair is now thicker and softer after 2 months.
My hair grows approximately 3 inches every four weeks, and my hair stylist cuts it about 1/2 inch every month. He said I have to trim it that much to keep it healthy. I dance hula - so my hair needs to be long. The thing to do really, is eat healthy. other than that - I don't do anything else. My hair is down to my knees. Try to use organic shampoo and conditioner, massage your scalp before you go to bed, don't wrap your hair with towel when wet, if you must use the bamboo cotton towel. Stay away (if you can) from blow dryers even when you get your hair done. Once every quarter, I make my own coconut oil - you can buy shredded coconuts everywhere, and throw them in a pan and when you draw enough oil apply to your hair. Keep on your hair for 30 minutes and then wash. It keeps your hair shiny for 3 months..
