I am suffering as well but I think it is diet to blame even though I dont want it to be.I suppose I eat too much sugar and bread but Im at my last resort do to the fact i have tried evey powder or cream you can buy over the counter. The only thing left to try is intense suffering diet with no sugar for yeast to feed on. I sure wish i had athletes foot instead of extreme scrotum itch.

I have had problems in this area for over three years and until recently one of the most frustrating and embarrassing situations I have experience. I have seen General practitioners, Dermatologist and had testing and no definitive resolutions. Thru the time I have been prescribed many medicines and even used many over the counter medications and nothing worked. One dermatologist  suggested I find someone else. I recently went to the VA for my annual testing and decided to ask the doctor about it since he isn't my regular GP.  I explained the intense itching especially after going to bed, the pustule sores and leather like scrotum. He took a quick look and said it appears that you a good case of a fungal infection. He prescribed Terbinafine Hydrochloride Cream Antifungal cream 1% to put on first and then apply theTriamcinolone Acetonide cream, USP 0.025% . Twice a day, Morning and  night. I began to notice a slight difference after the first application and four days later no itching and the scrotum is back to normal. You can Google these medicines. I truly hope this also work for you.

Im suffering also. I was scratching all last night from sun down till sun up. I barely was able to fall asleep from all the scraping and scratching. I even had to use a brush as a scratcher and then got a piece of sandpaper to scratch with. I finally scraped and scratched myselft asleep around 5am when the sun was coming up. When awoke at 9am this morning i looked down at my balls and they had turned green with purple and orange pokadotted bumps and spots all over them. I was horrified as it looked like some kind of alien fungus from another planet. My balls are really suffering and i dont know what to do. As i speak they are beginning to itch again and i dare not touch them. Somone please come to my balls rescue.

Hey, I know this post is old, but I was searching for the same thing and I think I found a solution. I know it's probably not universal, BUT I found this solution on my own and didn't see it as even a possibility ANYWHERE on the web. The irritation you're describing may be caused by using too much detergent in the wash. OR if any of you have new Hight Efficiency washing machines, becareful to use HE (high efficiency) detergent in them ONLY.

Here's the why. Regular washers use about 35 gallons of water per wash. HE washers use about 5 to 7 gallons per wash. So the regular detergent is made to be diluted in 35 gallons of water. So you may not be rinsing all of the detergent out of your boxers after each wash. Which is why no matter what you do to relieve the red / itch. You keep reintroducing the irritant every time you put your shorts on.

i had the same problems since long ,I was suggested by one experienced person that chemical accumulation of sweating, any spots of urine which drops inside underewear or any liquid left out after intercourse or masturbation are the main root cause : having utmost care in above aspect along with soothing lotion has reducedd my problem

Good news this is the fix Nystatin and Triamcinolone Acetonide cream, bad news is it is a prescription item. Applying this cream stopped the itch immediately and within two days the redness was gone. Within a week confident all symptoms gone. Yeast infection number one infection found on door knobs and escalator handrails. Very easy to pick it up from others as well.

I have the same problem. it started about a year ago with an intense itching near my anus. within the past three months the itching has spread to my penis and scrotum. I've used a few different otc creams with very little effect. I've been cleaning myself using witch hazel and cotton balls, this helps with the itching. after about two months it's not as bad as before. my entire scrotum had changed color though it's now bright pink. I do get flaky skin, not quite a scab, a clear small scab. don't pick those little scabs of it makes it worse. so I've finally found something that has been helping the past few days. sugar free yogurt.. eat it alot of it and apply it to the rash before you go to sleep. so much relief and the rash is finally going away. I also take a few tokes before bed so I sleep heavily and don't itch in my sleep.

i suggest that you put oil (medicinal oil) after taking a bath, but be sure that the part is dry and clean. do this twice a day (clean your private part first and make sure to dry it before putting the oil). it is effective on me. and as much as possible whenever your in the house dont wear briefs. just wear just hanging shorts that makes you comfortable. dont scratch it . it works promise. mine is better now. hope it will not come back.

Guys.  I know what all of you are going through.  My problem started in high school.  once in awhile I started to notice a sharp itch on a specific spot of my scrotum.  by the time I was about to enter collage, my nits were on FIRE.  I knew it wasn't an std or anything, and I also remembered what real jock itch felt like from when I was younger, so I ruled these out.  I'm actually not sure what caused it, but all that time I was more than ready for a cure.  it got to a point where I was putting over the counter hydrocortozone on my balls every once in awhile, and while it provided some relief, the itch would come back w/ a vengeance!.  I still believe it had something to do w diet, b/c I've noticed that when I eat really health foods like a lot of spinach, it isn't as bad.  But who the hell wan't to eat spinach all damn day, I need hooter wings and non itchy balls man.  . So yeah, I when through the cortozone, and stronger prescription steroid creams that damn near burnt my sack off.  long story short...I recently found the answer and still can't believe it - DUUDE - Go to walmart and buy a bottle of equate Medicated body lotion and smother your nuts  in a gob of that after a shower.  It'll give you that cool burn but will have you a lil worried for sec, but don't worry, its' not that bad.  Use it for a week and you'll noticed a BIG CHANGE.  Remember - equae Medicated body lotion in the green bottle - 'tripple relief' - GET IT.

You can thank me later for giving you your lives back..  Sack itch had me depressed for a loooooong time.  People would ask me to come out and play sports, and I'd refuse b/c of the irretation...  Now, w that lotion,  I can do ANYTHING.  Seriously.  As corny as it sounds man.  MY fruckin ballz freeel GRRRRRREEEEEAT!  I am just a regular joe guys.  I don't work for equate or any company,  I'm just a regular dude like you that had scratchy nuts that somehow transformed during puberty into a dry, itchy, flliculitis looking, burning, not as sweaty as they used to be cause they're so dry, have a different strench now cause they're always having to heal, feeling weird and soon burning after I even cautiously rubbed up w steriod prescriptions.....MESS.  BTW, that lotion is medicated and does smell mediciny,  But if you use it and then wash your hands, its not something peopele will be able to smell through your clothes.   ITs something that especially at 1st, I'd use it when you wake up, while you're at work, and then at night b4 sleep - especially at 1st.  And its a body lotion so you can use it all over.  I swear I'm about to go and by every bottle of this stuff.  It's that seriuos guys.  I NEEEEVER want to go though that stuff again.  I'll keep you posted on my progress and you do vice versa.  The sh*t is amazing..  Do you know what its like to be taking a piano lessen from the most beautiful asian chick on the planet and you can't concentrate on the lesson - not b/c she's hot, but b'c you wanna scratch your stinky nutts SOOOO BAAAAAD b/c it feels like a pin just went into a follicul?  THAT sh*t IFS FRUCKIN FRUSTRATING!  OH MY GOOOOOD.  Get the lostion guys.  And in that situation,  you'll be able to keep your hands on the keys when you practice piano at home without itching your nutz every second due to the warmth down there as you sit and play that is cauasing you to have to switch between playing, and scratching.  if you get it, you can go back to that piano class and impress her b/c you've been practicing so well.    Then she'll be so impressed that she'll remark how amazed she is about your sudden improvement, and about howshe wasn't sure you were ever going to be able to concentrate through her lessens because your prior nervousness.  Then you can just say that you wer just nervous b/c you were intimidated by her abilities and the crush you have on her, but that she's such a great teacher that you've come to respect what she does and have gotten more comfortable with her lessons.  Then one day when you really impress her, you can ask her out and when that night finally comes whe its time to get some CHRIM!  you'll have nice silky smooooooth baaaaaaallllzzzzzz.  And you'll be thinking, thanks a bunch Mysterious 'Guest User' on the forum who had itchy nut-sack disease like me.  You've changed my life.  :-)
