I Know This Is An Old thread but I found it looking up why I spot randomly and start my cycle late. I had my first and second children very young, one of them being adopted and the other having been early. My third has completed our family greatly as I have a stepchild the same age as my first (who lives with me fulltime). So I was ready at 26 to remove my tubes. I knew the risks but I also have a hormone imbalance that I've been living with my entire life. I take a combination pill of Calcium, Magnesium, and Zinc for anxiety. I take 5,000iu vitamin D for my depression. I take a prenatal instead of a multivitamin. I take Vitamin B complex for energy and Acidophilus for overall health. I take Black Cohosh for the further imbalance I experience that mirrors menopause.1 with my birth control pills during my normal days. And for the week of my period, on the placebos, I take 2 Black Cohosh capsules. It has eased the discomfort significantly. I had all of the above issues prior to the procedure, and was aware of the risks. The addition of sleepless nights and severe mood swings was a problem though. In addition to this, i have gained a small amount of weight. Unrefined coconut oil and an overall healthier diet should assist with this. If you haven't found what works yet, I hope this helps.

Hi there! I'm 31- had my tubes tied a little over a year ago and have had irregular bleeding ever since. I've been on vitex for 6 months or so- hasn't helped. I'm going to try 3x a day instead of two.
I refuse to take BC. It makes me crazy- which is why I went for the TL in the first place.

I am having all the same symptoms, issues etc as the women on this post. I am 26 years old. I had my tubes tied 2 years ago after my second child. I have had periods 2-3 times a month, at least once every two weeks. I am an emotional wreck, very unhappy, easily agitated, headaches everyday etc. I do not want to take BC because the entire point of this surgery was to not have to worry about that. I am considering having them reversed in hopes to regulate my body. Has anyone had theirs reversed?

I am 27 years old and had 4 kids, I got a tubal a month after my daughter was born. I had 3 periods very heavy bleeding which is not normal for me along with bad bad cramping. I then had a month with no period and now for the past 6 weeks I have been bleeding it goes from light to heavy varied day to day..... it's very weird how I never had irregular periods ever and I have never had any cramping but now I am having all this happen. Has to be from tubal or last pregnancy.

Thanks for opening up about your experience. I still suffer from Irregular Cycles....recently my labs came back as 17 in Iron....now yeah I do feel more irritable and unbalanced but not fatigued . I'm active and walk and ride light rail.....so no problems mobile its the crippling and eery feeling of not knowing what else I should consider....I have history of DVTs and after having 6 pregnancies /5 single births I got FIXED

There are 2 ways to get your tubes "tied", one is getting them actually tied, which is reversible, the other is a Ligation (tubes are cut tied and burned or electrocuted or both), which is not reversible. I have the ligation and have my issues every 2 weeks, 1 week period, next 2 weeks good, following week period. It sux. However, reversal cannot happen with a ligation.
