What was the outcome of this? I have same thing going on!
Hello yes I had a tubal ligation in 2011 after my 4th child. I never been through so much. Sometimes I get spotting for 3-5 days then I get heavy clotting for 2 days then it stops. But one thing I have a problem with is my hormones I guess I was one who was always intimate with my husband but since I had the tubal ligation done I don't even was to be intimate anymore. It's like it took all the urges away.. has anyone else had this problem??

I had a tubal ligation in July 2016. It is approaching a year now and i have yet to stop bleeding. when i say bleeding, its more like hemorrhaging with huge clots. I have never had heavy periods except during the first month after the birth of my son and after the cesarean of my daughter. 6 weeks after that they did the tubal which i had stopped bleeding for almost 3 weeks prior to the tubal. All of the doctors told me it was normal. i know it is not normal. Finally a few months ago my doctor ordered an ultrasound and the results were thickening of the endometrial stripe. My sister who is an R.N. on a womens health medical surgical floor at a hospital told me i must follow up and request a biopsy because the 18mm thickening can very well be a sign of precancerous or cancer cells. I have never had menstrual issues in my life and i just turned 39. have always had normal Pap smears , no diseases nothing. wondering if somehow my tubal was botched in a way that is causeing the nonstop bleeding.
Hey there I'm having the same issue it is always severe pain on my left side and heavy bleeding and the bc pills aren't helping did your doctor ever find a solution for you
I had my tubes tied back in 2010 and ever since i only get my menstrual for a day just like a spot and then nothing for months later. Last year i had a heavy flow to where i couldnt do anything not even dress which lasted like 3 days then it stopped and didnt get it again until my husband left to work which ironcially i get it when he leaves to work (upstate seasonal) and when he returns which of course sucks. But this time i got it 2 times in less than a week and i don't get any appetite everything will gross me out. Not sure what to do the dr just says its normal cause of my hormones. Also i notice ive been getting facial hair which i never had and been breaking out constantly. I regret getting it done but oh well can't turn back time.
Same here tubes have been tide 2 years ago I'm consistently bleeding almost the hole month this is crazy tiredness light headed when I'm bleeding

I also had my tubes tied! Since then it has been nothing but hell!!!! I have 2-3 period so a month using a 36 count of tampons and pads sometimes filling a tampon in 45 mins!! I have been to my obgyn, birth control will regulate u, let's try birth control to get your hormones back in balance!!! All I hear is birth control!!! Something is obviously going on that requires more than birth control but no one will do anything!! My periods were 3-5 no cramps easy bleeding until I had a tubal!!! Can someone help me?!?!
I am currently going through the same situation. Bleeding randomly for the last 2 months. However once I started taking a daily multivitamin my body (in general) started to get regular again.
Hi i just seen u said u struggle with arms, i struggle with my arms too and have no idea why but its only since my tubes been done 10weeks agowith my c section... Didn't think any of that wud cause pains all over my body from head to toes my muscles hurt and sore to touch...wudn ever recommended getting tube done xx
I have 8 kids last 4 were c-sections, I had to tie my tubes. I feel depressed at times, can't braid my girls hair or hold my arms up for a few minutes with out getting a burning sensation through my body. When I sit for a period of time I get spasms, I don't feel hungry at time and at times I binge eat, I'm not regular I have a 30 day cycle when it was perfectly 28 before I spot 2 wks after. And I'm 28yrs old, average weight n height. Libido super low there's no reason for us to go through this just because we decided to make a decision that some of us had no choice because our lives or health was at risk. Any answers or guidance to what should be done..
i regret doing it its been a year and just in the last 2months I have been bleeding 14days then 8days not bleeding then 16days and counting I feel so drained headaches dehydrated I look so pale I cant stand for very long then idays get dizzy goh I hate it. Whats the point of getting my tubes done wen ur told to take birthcontrol thats wat I didnt want to do. After having my 6child 2016
I've had the same problem for 2 years!! Not only does it cause abnormal menstrual cycles but "hormonal mood swings" as well!! I ha e endometriosis since before I had my tunes tied....after 3 miscarriages 1 still born and 2 heathly children (1 boy 1 girl) my gyno still put me on birth control instead of a hysterectomy ( I'm too young). 28 2 kids feeling like I go through labor once a month with my actual menstrual cycle, bleeding for 3 months straight on top on mood swings and anxiety ( which I've never experienced before having a tubal). They won't even offer me anti anxiety or anti depressants they want to keep trying different birth controls which make me bleed even more ( 3 weeks out of 28 days) which not only affects my mental well-being but my sexual with my husband as Well!! It's a everyday struggle where i have cramps/migraines and bleeding vaginal tissue but they refuse to do anything because at 28 with 2 heathly children im ("too young")!!! If you find a doctor that actually helps instead of harms let me know so I can

I'm so happy I came upon this site. It's been 2 years since my surgery. It's been HELL!!!!
My bleeding won't stop. I've been bleeding since Aug. 29 and were in Nov 28.. This seems normal in my new way of life after surgery. I wanna cry , snap and I feel an angry in which is hard to control. But for the first time in 2 years I don't feel alone.
